I explain the Entire Bridgerton Family Tree in this video. I show who married who. I show how everyone in the Netflix series and the main characters in the books are related. I use the book characters to explain this family tree but make reference to the Netflix Show and add their characters when applicable.

Bridgerton is a Netflix television series by Julia Quinn during the Regency period under the reign of Queen Charlotte. Lady Whistledown is the mysterious society gossip and critique, played by Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan). The book and series is about the marriages of the Bridgerton Children, Anthony, Benedict, Colin (Luke Newton), Daphnie, Eloise, Francesca, George, and Hyacinth as they and the other families of Regency England, including the Featherington Family see who dominates each social season... and who becomes Queen Charlotte's favourite and dimaond.

Its a cute story where they found the way to join all different cultures together. We have enough of regency shows that arw accurate, no need for another one.

Well the books are based off of the regency era so all the characters are white. But modern TV adaptations demand inclusivity so half of the characters were switched to people of color, hence the changes in the names as well.

That theory that Cressida is Sophie is genius. Considering Sophie is her sister in the books. She run away from her aunt in the beginning of season 4 looking for Eloise so she crash a masked ball and she dance with Benedict asking for his sister he asks her name and she panics and say Sophie because she see her parents or aunt. And that moment Benedict is in love with a “Sophie” so once he finds out she Cressida he still calls her his Sophie

​@@velursy I think it's because the title of Duke of Hastings "comes with the land", while the Viscount title is not linked to a region. That's what I interpreted, that Hastings is the duchy, not the name of the family

Bridgerton is very popular. It is colourful, well produced and acted pile of poo.. as long as you suspend disbelief and realise it is not history it is a mildly entertaining way to pass a couple of hours.
