The Broken Meeple - Scythe: Wind Gambit Review

I am really excited about getting this expansion. I have the first expansion, but the alternative end game objectives is what excites me. I really don't know how I feel about the airships. I am planning to get the Scythe Big Box and the upcoming deadalus insert that is designed to hold the two expansions that are already out plus the future expansion that is yet to be released.

That's pretty cool - if it wasn't getting another expansion I'd probably follow suit. Knowing that one more is on the way I'll have to see - whether that Legendary box ever comes back into stock.

I know but the last expansion is still an year away and for me committing to the big box without knowing if i will like the last expansion or no is a big risk and hence for me till then, this solution suffices, also my wife wouldn't allow spending on an empty box :)

I got the legendary box delivered with my copy of the wind gambit - Andrew at board game extras had it in stock last week ... great box

the only people who feel like scythe is overrated are the people who can't handle any conflict in games at all and only want a super dry experience.

LoftOfTheUniverse If anything the ones who I find don't like it are those who want more conflict with full attacking mech combat. I like that it's an option but not the whole game.

Hmm might have to retry Scythe with this expansion, it may fix the game for me.

Overall the game felt too open, so having an end game constraint could make the difference. I appreciated the game for sure, just wasn't that taken with it.

is it just more or is the video out of sync with the audio?

It shouldn't be, however another subscriber pointed out that there may be an issue with something called "audio drift" - where the camera audio and Audacity audio are recording at different hz rates. For more recent videos I've sought to ensure they record at the same hz rate and I feel that will fix the issue.
