Thank you for not only teaching me about makeup in my 60's, but "ministering" to my ego about my blank canvas (my face). I wonder if you know HOW MUCH you help all of us older ladies. I tell you, it's all in your head and attitude. Think "I'm beautiful", and that really goes a long way with your makeup application, at least it does for me. God bless you, dear, dear, gorgeous lady 🙏.

I am a retired esthetician. After 38 years as a professional - I’ve seen a lot of trends come and go and not always a lot of tips and tricks for helping your skin and features look the best for you! This is the approach I used - and how one can apply parts or all of the trends to suit one’s age, face and lifestyle. It’s so nice that you’re doing that also. I happily share much of your content with several of my previous clients. They’re always grateful. Many thanks!

I've been using cosmetics in ways not intended for decades (I'm 75), but never told anyone. For instance, I've always liked using my lipstick to color my cheeks in a shade that complemented my lips. And, I "cheated" by using my mascara to strengthen the look of my brows. I'm so relieved to not keep that secret anymore. Thanks, Nikol. "

Correct! I am 66, same here! Over the last several years have felt that so many young people have fallen for "you can't use this here, only here" principal....for heavens sake one product used on a face won't do harm being put two inches away on the lips...but the industry says NO, don't do that, the chemicals will cause damage....well, if they cause damage in one location 2 inches away the same damage is being done🙄. Ages ago women picked berries of trees for color to use as make up. Videos such as Nikol's teach us to use our own creativity...we deserve to, we have made it this far💝

I tried my black mascara to shape my brows. It was the formula that I liked not the color. Brow gels ( brow mascara) Purchased in the past were too oily. Now I have found a chocolate mascara I am going to experiment.

I have shaved my face as Japanese do using a dispo razor since I was 15 and am 75 now. Of course, did not always have dispo razors back in high school. Shaving has kept my face smooth and receptive to active skin ingredients. I also sleep on my back. I have no turkey neck or jowls and no crow's feet. I wear eye makeup and lipstick only. Have never used foundation. I have reddish cheeks naturally. At 73 I began to use hyaluronic acid and at 75 added vit c and niacinamide. Two weeks ago I added retinoids. I used jojoba oil on my neck for 6 years. I think my young face is due to genetics, doctors and nurses and immigration staff ( I travel a lot) tell me I look 45. Helps being petite and thin. You help me a lot with your attitude. Thank you Nikol!

I am so relieved to hear that you recommend the Tinkle. Until about a year ago I was so afraid to "shave" my face. I had nightmares about the hair returning darker and thicker. I started using the Tinkle, however, when I saw one of your videos about your face and neck being cut by the drugstore dermaplane razor, I was very afraid to use mine again. My mind can rest easy now and my face can/will be smooth once again. Thank you so much for all your tips. I absolutely LOVE your videos.

I use Tinkle skin blades too. The main reason men look so much better as they age is because they shave. Exfoliation is a good thing for skin care.

Yes, I too have used my light brown brow pencil as a lip liner a few times and really liked the result. It just needs to be applied very lightly, like you did. I also sometimes use a hint of my light peach cream blush above the outer creases of my eyes to give them definition and look fresh. Some of my light lipsticks make a great cream blush as well. I'm French and love a natural look.

Thank you Nikol! I'm 57 and needed this pep talk today. I have been feeling down for the last couple of days about my aging face. I take good care of my skin so it looks pretty nice. However, I'm starting to notice a more pronounced squareness to my face due to gravity taking hold of the skin on my jawline. I absolutely do not like it lol! I starting using your products and they are amazing and I mean that! I kept thinking her makeup is so wonderful but I need a new face to show it off on lol! So, I really needed your video today. It was just the reminder I needed to stop thinking negatively and remember that im older but that's ok because i'm still me and i'm still beautiful! I've never been someone who thinks she's beautiful but you are truly starting to convince me that I really am! You're amazing Nikol, thank you! Also, yes I am dying to get my hands on your BB Cream!! I am in no rush! I'll be patient. Your products are worth the wait! ❤️🌹🙂

When I was 16 and starting shaving my legs I immediately noticed how smooth my legs were and when I put moisturizer on how quickly it soaks in. While soaking in the bathtub I tried shaving my arms even though the peach fuzz wasn’t a problem. Again my arms were so smooth and moisturizers soaking in the skin made my skin look and feel amazing. I then had the crazy thought to again massage a moisturizing shaving cream on my face! ( after exfoliating) The result were amazing when moisturizing and when I applied Retin A. Applied makeup looked amazing! You’re not only removing peach fuzz but you’re removing dead skin cells. I do this in the privacy of my bathroom even though I have shared this ritual with some friends. Best thing I ever did! ❤

Very good video, Nikol. I really enjoyed this. It's just like when you're in a pinch and you forget your blush and you use your lipstick as a quick blush, it works without a whole mess of extra problems! As for facial shaving, I bought the same thing from Amazon several months ago and I absolutely love the large handle and the ease of using it. It's amazing how a little peach fuzz in the wrong areas can create darkness on your skin, and it looks like pigmentation and actually it's just hair! 😊But I'm really interested in trying your creme brulee. I'm so sick of bronzers that look orangey or some other ridiculous color. I like the soft mixtures and the light and dark combinations; it looks natural. I currently use Burts Bees bronzer (creme) and I've used it as a beautiful bronze/nude lip color and it has just a touch of shine, which I don't mind. But it really surprised me how much it worked. Now I use it a lot, but I'm thinking about using your idea of the chocolate pencil as a liner with it! Hmm. Sounds good!😊❤
