@@40gritguitars love the guitar! Check out the video of my custom Sunburst tiger. The only custom guitar that I didn’t paint or build myself from scratch. I had the body and the neck made by Randy Butala in Canada. And I traded a Charvel star Guitar to my friend Mark at Guitar Guts in California for the paint job. I did all the rest of it myself. I was able to get lucky and get one of the last. “the hunter” pickups from Seymour Duncan for the bridge before they stopped making them. I have a Seymour Duncan little 59 in the neck position. I do have a few guitars with original Floyd tremolo, but I prefer the Gotoh 1996t, being that I am a woman and I have soft hands, and they are smaller, I like the way that it feels under my hand when I play. Because the saddles are contoured. Hope you’re having a good evening! Please check out my video and if you like it and like my other videos subscribe to my channel, I would appreciate it. Thank you. @@40gritguitars Hey my friend I don’t have a KZbin channel but I do have many Warmoth guitar bodies and necks! I’m a huge fan of warmoth. Who built your bones guitar? I think the bones guitar is the best 80s guitar ever! Lynch is also an amazing player! I have two bones bodies built by monster garage. Chris woods out of Tennessee. Thanks for sharing my friend!

This is the stuff I love!!!! Built by, played by, customized by.......pure passion under 6 strings. Every relic mark is personalized, pick up selection, turners and tremo (with d-tuna). Guitar that demands to be played. I saw some faded cut scenes in the video so that means you forgot you were recording because it demanded to be noodled. If I got the chance to play on any of your guitars........this is the one I would ask to play.

Warmoth Pro construction necks give any guitar you put them on improved tone. You get better sustain and clarity. Some people dont like the feel of these necks because they are so solid and stable feeling, but listening to playbacks always proves the superior tone when they are in an A/B comparison situation. The steel bar welded to the rod adds mass and stability, the Pro necks are SO stable.

I built a strat last year and used a Warmoth neck (reverse headstock, full scallop), and I can't say enough good things about it, it's perfect. I have a Tele body from them, and just ordered a neck for it for my next build. I can't wait.
@andyhayes78283 ай бұрын
@@Nothing-zw3yd I hear you, I've used Warmoth since the point that I had gotten tired of having to settle for the stock specs of Charvel/Jackson and Kramer (in the '80's I uaed a Baretta and a Dinky). I have never gotten one bad thing from them, but I can't say the same for other companies (Musikraft for instance), where some of the stuff just wasn't done right.

I have a similar build. I got the alder body from eBay as well and have a warmoth flamed baked maple neck. I originally tried to do a sparkle blue finish and the clear coat didn't dry correctly so I stripped it and just stained it brown with a light nitro finish. I've been wanting to get a hold of some arcane pickups. Those sound great.

Nice - what kind of cover is on the spring cavity? I haven't seen that type before. Potential streaming show idea: pedal/amp/signal chain tone?
@40gritguitars3 ай бұрын
These are the covers supplied by the builder. I don’t like rear spring covers so I cut them down to keep it looking right. Good idea on the chain! I can surely do that! Thanks so much for watching.
@chrisnaishguitar3 ай бұрын
Nice guitar! Question for you - on a guitar with a recessed Floyd Rose cavity, typically the block recommendation is 32mm. The logic is that 42mm will of course protrude way out of the back of the guitar, and with a 37mm block...it still fits usually...but - with the springs angling down from the claw to the block (instead of going straight across, parallel to the body), is this going to cause issues? I keep my back covers off too, so that's not my concern, it's more about tuning stability, playability, and feel of the strings, if that makes sense.
@40gritguitars3 ай бұрын
So you have a 37 and it’s not protruding but the springs are angled up from the claw?
@chrisnaishguitar3 ай бұрын
@@40gritguitars Yes, correct. It is a recessed Floyd cavity, though, and I do keep the bridge plate lower inside it in order to get the desired low string action.
@40gritguitars3 ай бұрын
So you can shim the neck pocket to bring the bridge up. If you’re ok with where the bridge is sitting in the cavity I see no reason to be concerned.
