Wow so that's so neat to hear about St. Bernadette and the state of Our Lady of Lourdes! I had no idea. I heard of the six-decade Rosary but didn't know much about it. I also only heard of mediating on the Immaculate Conception but not the other possibilities. Thank you for this wonderful video!

hello, may I ask what exactly is meditating upon the mystery of each decade ? Im kinda confused and not sure about how attentive I should be to the words of the prayer. Thank you so much
@ICSPublications3 жыл бұрын
This is a great question, Đức. I think there are several ways to meditate on the mysteries of the rosary. One could simply recall the mystery at the beginning of each decade and then focus more on the words of the prayers throughout the decade. Or one could consider the mystery while saying the prayers throughout the decade (which would mean being less attentive to the literal words of the prayers). A third way might be somewhat of a mixture between the two: one could be attentive to the words of the prayers in light of the specific mystery. I would recommend doing what best helps you to pray, or as Teresa of Avila says, "Do that which best stirs you to love." And that may look different depending on the day. Thanks for your question. God bless you!

Can anyone help me with a scriptural version of the 6th mystery for the joyful, luminous, sorrowful, and glorious? also the spiritual fruit?
@maggiem33092 жыл бұрын
When you say that we can pray the Brigittine rosary by meditating on any part of the life of our Lady, is it traditional to just meditate on one part of her life through the entire rosary or think of a different part of her life at each decade?
@ICSPublications2 жыл бұрын
Maggie, since there are no official mysteries you can do either one. Just allow the Holy Spirit to leave you!

Hi.. In the six decade CARMELITE rosary , at the end of each decade do we recited the apostles creed Or Glory be ?
@ICSPublications3 жыл бұрын
Hi Eliana, most Carmelites that I know end each decade with a Glory Be. However, since there are no set rules, feel free to do whichever you find most helpful for your prayer. God bless you!

I understand that which Rosary you pray, the 5 decade or 6, is a matter of tradition, but what was the Rosary taught at Fatima? Awesome video

So why did Discalced Carmelites adopt this rosary of St Bridget ?
@ICSPublications8 ай бұрын
Hi Mark. From the video: "If the six-decade rosary was seen as the rosary specifically devoted to the Immaculate Conception, it would make sense that the Discalced Carmelite friars would adopt it as their own." God bless you!

Hello..., The Carmelites often replaced the crucifix of the beginning of rosary with a medal of St. Teresa of Avila , do we still recite the Apostle's creed at the beginning? Thank you
@ICSPublications3 жыл бұрын
Hi Eliana, as was mentioned in the video, there is no one set way to pray the rosary. In my experience, many Carmelites pray the six decade rosary in a similar way to the five, meaning they start with the Apostle's Creed, Our Father, 3 Hail Mary's, and a Glory Be.

We don't sell any religious items at ICS, but some Carmelite nuns make and sell 6 decade rosaries: www.sistersofcarmel.com/brigittine-crown-chaplet/ Or you could try contacting the Flemington Carmel which I believe sells them in their giftshop: flemingtoncarmel.org/

All good until he mentioned the falsity of the false luminous mysteries that are not inspired.

Yes, how on earth could he toss that modernist innovation into this most traditional mix.
@reineressusbilla91622 ай бұрын
How is it false when it is on the life of our Lord Jesus?
@CoinOfFaith2 ай бұрын
Because the Rosary is an abbreviated form of the book of Psalms. 150 Psalms 150 Hail Mary's. Adding any 'invented' mysteries is ridiculous.
