One of Luke's students a kid named Uldir Lochett had the same ability and might have been a descendent of Zayne.

The sad thing is that the Covenant wanted tae wait for Zayne to return before they slaughtered the padawans. The reason they had to jump straight to the murder was that the Padawans figured out something was wrong, because they knew there was no way Zayne could be knighted. They had no faith in him whatsoever. Those were his friends and classmates, and what saved Zayne was that they saw him as a failure. And yes, The Masters told him.

In my opinion the moment the Jedi Order failed the galaxy. Was when they abandoned or exile their former padawans and follower of Bogan from their homeworld. Which created the very evil they sought to destroy and remember the Jedi were the first to attack first and start the flames of war. Because the followers of Bogan/dark Jedi were minding their own business. They weren't against the Jedi order in any type way. They had their own place to doing as they please, without the Jedi watching their move. And don't get me started on the Republic. The Jedi order should've never ally with them in the first place. They have just stay as a "force-user organization" with their own community. Without getting involved with the affairs of the galaxy.

Also an interesting easter egg, is that in the comics, some issues after Zayne escapes Taris, he runs into a guy who at the end of that particular story arc is revealed to be Alek, the padawan of Revan who will become Malak, the big bad from KOTOR. And in one of the last images of that comic issue when he is boarding his ship (they were all on an asteroid or something wearing spacesuits) he closes his suits helmet faceplate and it is shown that he is wearing a red suit and in the same pose as the one seen in the prophecy (and well he will later kill a lot of jedi in KOTOR which comes after the comic book story).
