I used to despise him because he was easy to hate playing for a division rival and being as hyped up as he was entering the league... BUT especially since he's been in Philly, the dude is genuinely a good dude who plays every game as if it's his last. He cares about nothing but winning and has been saying all the right things to win over the fanbase here. If you're not from Philly you really can't understand how misunderstood our fanbase is. We care about our teams and want the players on our teams to care about winning as much as we do and Harper absolutely does and unlike a lot of today's athletes, he's not a phoney.

Some fun facts from Jomboy: 1. Strickland had apparently been telling teammates before the game that he would plunk Harper. Buster told him if he did, he would want no part in it. 2. If you watch the footage of Harper "watching the home run" it's a long shot that could honestly be a foul, the catcher and ump are both also standing and watching, so it's not like it was particularly egregious. It's Strickland who was yelling at Harper, when Harper rounds first, he's responding to him
