The fact that Waller considers him a meta shows that even people within the universe know that considering him a “regular” person, with his physical and mental attributes basically being and all the insane feats he pulls off is stupid (which can be said about a lot of characters in fiction that have similar attributes or pull off similar feats while being considered “regular” people).

To me that is not plot armor catching the victory, from the kryptonite. Because it was gold kryptonite, which is a thing with in the continuity, and the Kryptonite suit in and of itself is actually prep time, that is a specialty suit built for a given task, that is not plot armor - that is prep time. If any of the Injustice game contingency would be plot armor, it's the pill or the reaction time of superman. Because Superman can actively Dodge most anything that has ever been created within dc, and Batman does not even break the sound barrier with his punches hyphen he should be able to dodge every single attack from every single Justice League member except for the flash. And it doesn't even take that much skill to dodge, it is physically moving out of the direction of an attack but the removal of Superman's powers would impact leaving very vulnerable, no matter how many times he gets the powered, or put up against a Darkseid or some other mythically cosmically powerful being which actually can unleash some kind of pain towards him. He never trains how to fight, he doesn't even just pay attention to how The Goonies swings a bat. If Superman knew how to fight, they could maybe do something the next time Luthor pulls up with that green.

In fact he could could use some anesthetic gas like that one movie. If anesthetic gas can work on Alternate Dimensions Superman why can't it work on goku. Put that thing to sleep while he just throws him in a river or something. They could use the anesthetic gas to make sure they do not get up and walk away while that giant piece of metal is falling from orbit. What military person thought it was a good idea to put rods of tungsten in orbit, and then have them fall out of the sky on command. That was such a weird plan, how did a real person come up with that. That sounds like something that someone would find out is in a metal gear game and then accepted as the new feature. That is a red thread what if scenario, what if they were giant tungsten rods just floating in orbit that randomly come down from the sky. They do not need the button.

I used to be a huge fan of Batman because the thing that was cool about him is that he was just a normal human who could hang with literal gods because he was smart and resourceful. At this point, they've pushed the bounds of what that means so far that it's clearly not just being smart and resourceful. It's obviously the most massive set of plotarmor in any universe. When I go over VS battles that include him, I say up front that plotarmor doesn't count. He only gets credit for things that are actually possible, if only in the very slightest, for a normal human to accomplish. No, he can't run 60mph to catch up to a train while literally wearing a parachute (his cape). No, he can't hurt the hulk by kicking him. No, he can't move so quietly that Superman can't hear him. Sorry, Batman, he can hear your blood flowing through your veins. It doesn't matter how quietly you step. He can literally hear YOUR BLOOD! I can’t help it feel that a big part of why they let Batman do all of this is because too many people Batman is the ultimate power fantasy. I think we all like to believe that if you just try hard enough and come prepared you can face whatever the world throws at you no matter how dangerous. Don’t get it wrong. This is why I like Daredevil and Iron Man more than Batman. Yes, Iron Man does have contingency plans against some of the Avengers, but he still has a real possibility that he could lose And Daredevil has similar combat and detective skills, but he still has weaknesses that can be very exploitable if he isn't always on timing.

That and at the end of the day, he is just a guy in a bad costume so most characters think that they can just run up on him and beat him up then call it a day.

For most characters with ridiculous abilities, they look into the physiology or the powers of the person they’re up against, and then they use their powers to counter it. Heck Superman has done some crazy prep time himself just look at Superman vs the elite. We have black panther abusing Wakandan tech (which gets more ridiculous from a civilization standpoint as time goes on) Green arrow does the same stuff Batman does but he’s less paranoid so he’s less prepared The flash prepares by coming up with a new moves to use against unique powers The reason Batman is the king of prep time is because he’s so paranoid. He spends every day preparing for things that would normally never be a problem.
