I'm a single mum, my brother and son are very close. Every Valentines he gets me a gift for my son to give me. This year it was the same present as his wife's. I didnt think much of it, I think jts very sweet he goes out of his way to remember me and to teach my son about being generous and showing those you care about that you value them. I honeslty wouldnt care if the gift was just a card and a bar of chocolate. I think women must remember if you want a good, kind man who treats people well, you must remember he will treat everyone well, not just you. If you want a man who only treats you well - he likely wont be a kind man or always treat you well.

I don’t think she has a problem with the kindness , it’s him not telling her he had plans to do so. It was also exposed on twitter so some alleged messages of her speaking on sleeping with him so that makes it worse. I agree that we should understand that aspect of someone being kind, I grew up with a father like that. However he always makes sure my mum knows what he does and he would never entertain nonsense or let any woman disrespect their relationship. Some men allow disrespect under the guise of being a kind person to someone and that’s not fair for their partner. Sometimes boundaries are needed

I agree with you both. I also would call and thank both parties whenever I get a gift from a person who is part of a couple and not phrased it as thank your husband/partner. I would have thanked her and also thanked him. I think she should have said thank you both for the gift.

It is very sweet for the husband to remember his SIL for Valentine’s Day. I wouldn’t be mad about the gift. Maybe the wife feels less special bc he didn’t put the thought in to get her something different.

THAT’S EXACTLY what I was thinking too!! It wasn’t that he gave her (SIL) a gift at all, she’s (wife) mad that he gave them the same gift which makes it seem like he didn’t really put any thought into making it extra special for his wife.

Here’s some missing info on ReessaTeessa situation: He was a talker he would talk morning to night nonstop. He said he was married and divorced but had a great relationship with his step kids in California. This was a lie. He said he went to university in California. There was no trace of him ever being in California at all. The first realtor didn’t get proof of income when they first started working with them and Legion said his uncle said to never show that info to anyone, including any savings. He told her he had off shore accounts also, this was not true. That realtor had to drop them as clients, while Legion was lying about the house being under contract. The 2nd realtor tried to immediately get proof of income but he would not provide it. That realtor was very suspicious of him and SHE TOLD ReessaTeessa to please do her digging because something fishy was up. Reessa said she KNEW he was gonna lie to her. When Reessa instead questioned Legion (instead of digging for truth) he lied like she knew he would , and said there was an issue with the APR, she said “let’s just wait on the house then” because by the time that realtor comes into play (and possibly a 3rd one), they eventually looked at 25+ houses, doing tours, talking costs, planning renovations etc. There was no mention of the “friend” he mentioned he wanted to do the contracting. So she gave up altogether but DID NOT do her research or double check anything he said. (This is still a few months after dating). Legion told her his dad was a Sheriff officer. This wasn’t true as he was never a police officer.. He said his father started a church and was the pastor there. He took her to a random church to show her around. This wasn’t true as his family actually barely went to church. He said his father had 2 sons before meeting his mom. This was never true as the father never had outside children when within his marriage or at all. He said he had two sisters, one of those ppl was actually his cousin (or niece) who had no contact with him, and the other person was actually an Ex girlfriend. He said he had an Aunt that lived in Philadelphia. This was not his Aunt at all, but a friend of his mom who passed away. He said his grandma died in the midst of the pandemic. He took her to a cemetery and showed her a tombstone. This was a lie, they grandma died years in advance, and he had worked at that cemetery so he knew his way around it, and around that city which he lied and said his “sister” lived in that city. He pretended to be on the phone with his brother daily, but it was all a lie as the brother who is his TWIN had gone no contact with him years prior. He said he was VP of production for a condiment company but would only wear a tshirt and jeans to work. He showed her an email saying they were promoting him. This was an all lie. His twin brother was actually a real VP at a company. He said he played football. Also a lie. The Chase bank approval Ltr, and the one time she saw an account with money in it, it was ALL screenshots and printouts from GOOGLE images. He also was supposed to get her a BMW. Instead he only got her a Nissan that had a hefty monthly payment she knew she would not be able to pay by herself, on her current salary. He went to another dealership where he told the dealer that he would have his job wire the money to them so he could get a work car. He quickly and randomly got a nice car, but said it was a company car and he had to drop it off at work everyday before coming home. All of this was a lie. He said he needed a couple thousand dollars for his grandmothers funeral who passed from Covid. This was all a lie. He needed $2000 usd, for his ex-step daughter’s funeral who died from Covid. This was all a lie. He said his uncle died from Covid. All a lie. He was sending gifts, shoes, etc to his niece, this was all a lie as his family had gone no contact with him years prior. When she suffered the miscarriage (4 months after meeting him) he had her go by herself to the procedure and lied about being at work. They were “invited to his sisters house for dinner” and on the way there he “got a call” and they had to turn around and go home. They had plans again with the sister, and they too got “canceled” right before. He introduced her to a random person as his brother within the first month of living together. That was not his brother. They got married in January 2021 (this is 9/10 months after meeting him). When they did the marriage license, he put down a random social security number. One day she decided to run his SSN but nothing came up so she thought he was clean. He randomly lied one day and told her when she got home, that a man in a car reversed into their driveway, got out, knocked on the door and asked for her specifically. When Legion said she wasn’t there the guy said “oh okay” and got in his car and left. When she tried to ask questions he made it seem like it was her ex from 2.5 years ago that showed up. She insisted to know more details and he couldn’t provide any. He was upset that her ex would so comfortably pull up to her house. Internally she knew it wasn’t her ex from years ago, because her ex would never drive the car that was described because it’s similar to what police officers drive when off duty (her ex was a cop). Her and the ex had never had contact either. She went and asked her neighbor if they saw anything, the neighbor said no. She explained the situation and asked the neighbor to please check her Ring camera recordings. The neighbor said she saw no one come to the house. This was all a lie. He would often talk to his cousin “Junebug”. This was a lie as the cousin died more than a decade before. She decided to get a new job for more money, which he doubted her and laughed at her about it thinking she wouldn’t go for it. The job required background checks and she needed his social security number which he gave her trouble about but provided it and she turned it the paperwork. When she randomly went back to ensure she turned everything in correctly, she noticed the SSN numbers was different from the marriage license. So she found it weird. He had a knee injury that started acting up so he was on bed rest for more than a week suffering in pain and he wouldn’t go to the doctor, nor would he let her call his doctor. During this he was in another bedroom and was finally not talking so Reessa was able to think clearly for the first time in forever. She realized she needed to do a background check on the SSN from the job papers. She also went thru his phone and saw he was still on the dating apps he was on when they almost a year prior and was cheating on her. She found papers with what she was told was his dead mothers name. The name was actually his EX WIFEs name. She called his ex wife to ask her questions from there she learns everything about this man including his name, was a lie. She then decided to call his brother that she thought he was talking to everyday. The brother confirmed what the ex wife exposed. There’s sooo much more 😂 but wanted to give this for those who didn’t watch/listen.

I think she was just caught up in a weird fairytale fantasy that she built up in her mind..and sometimes people realise they have made mistakes in relationships but find it hard to let go because they think they have to prove something or correct something

Thank you for breaking the story down , I have empathy for the ' Who TF did I marry' women because deceivers are so good at deceiving , the bible says wolves come in sheets clothing. Granted she had some uncertain feelings or convictions , when your discernment is not yet strong you can't really decipher the "gut feelings" or " nudging feelings" and as she said she didn't pray. As well as Sharon said her feeling like God is taking too long to bring her hearts desire of marriage and family did not help , that's when counterfeit blessing start coming in to test us and when we are tired of waiting sha we will just take what's there and convince ourselves this is God answering, though all the RED FLAGS are there. Well at least she's learnt and in a better place

The lady is offended by the gift from her husband to his sister because it’s like they are on the same level. She’s feeling like her position is threatened, and it is that deep because she voiced her feelings. Everybody’s feelings are valid and it’s not fair to make a statement like that. We don’t know what has been happening prior in order for her to speak up, in such a public way. The way everything happened is as though he’s doing it in secret and putting her on the spot. Someone not able to fund their own lifestyle but wants you to give up yours and depend on him financially, isn’t that hatred?

I am mad KZbin didn’t notify me. I’ll be at the next one but I’m catching up now ! I think the first scenario is sticky because if it was the other way round , some ppl will have issue. I do think communication is important because why all that time he didn’t tell her ? It was only when she called did she find out. It does matter in the grand scheme of things because then the sister in law was speaking on sleeping with that same husband. He may be innocent but imagine seeing that knowing he didn’t tell you about that gift. It is deep but I don’t think she should’ve posted it. It is a we thing tho when you’re married because you guys are now one. There is a difference when you present something as Mrs and Mr than if I say this is from me Chel. That’s why the sister called to say tell HIM thank you and not both. Truly there’s no reason it couldn’t have been from both or for him not to speak on it. If you can say such things what more do you do without telling me is how some feel. I was not mad at Porsha since they weren’t actually friends it was said that for the show and Falynn cheated on him did she not ? Falyn was sleeping with that guy she was going on holiday with them. They had a baby together and was engaged shortly after she divorced Simon. Porsha made a mistake for sure , he deceived her and everyone else. Both Falynn and him are sus. I hope P will be okay because that’s awful. Porsha is leaving because I’m sure doesn’t want to pay for his scams and have to live abroad. I agree with some of Winnie’s points.

1. A man being good, kind and all is the bare minimum. That's what a basic human being should be. Yes she should appreciate that, but it doesn't mean she should shove her problems away because "at least she should be grateful he's caring." 2. He should have told his wife. Communication and respect! She probably would have even made them get a gift the woman would love more. Marriage is about communication. Imagine if she heard it from an outsider? She'd look stupid for not knowing. In this day and age when people steal people's husbands? I get they are grieving but marriage is marriage, he should have told her and he shouldn't have bought the same gifts, Val's day gifts should be specific to the person. It's not that deep that it should cause marital problems, but he should have involved her. Simple.
