I just looked in my Google photos which goes back to 2014. I have photos of that maxi dating back then. I started the hobby in 2012 and it was one of my first nems so I probably got it sometime in 2013. I have had it a long time. Its survived crashes, multiple tank transfers, and a house move. It even ate a Red Mandarin once. Fully open its bigger than my hand. Its a beast... a monster even

I got a 55 gal w 40 gallon sump and a 20 gal hydroponics tray with 4 t5s imma start propagation of btas. Beautiful tank i love the meat corals and how you mixed rock flowers, mini maxis and btas. One thing missing is s sexy shrimp.

That Acanthophyllia is looking amazing. As far as themed tanks they really are the way to go. They look nicer and are easier to take care of. Picking a theme can be tricky. After years and years and years of mixed reefs my main tank is now a softy dominated mixed reef, but I also have a softy only sexy shrimp nano. This is a fun easy tank, and there are times I think about putting LPS in but I like the theme. Recently started a 90 gallon which will be SPS dominate / maybe only. I busted out my old giant MH reflector for this one. In the past I've had a garden eel tank which was so much fun, I had really no choice but to give them away before a long distance move. It was hard enough to move my reefs 700km I can't imagine moving all that live sand.. Prior to the garden eels I kept Octopus in that tank, and before the Octopus I had a cuttlefish reef. One day in the hopefully not too distant future I will get a dream display tank and while it will be mixed I hope it will be dominated by one type of coral or animal, but I always plan to run satellite tanks. It's just too much fun to have different things you don't normally see.

Soooo beautiful Bryan! I have Mollywood! It’s an Innovative Marine Nuvo Fusion 40 Mini and the fish are saltwater mollies that I’ve bred (though I believe there are still 2-3 that I bought and transitioned from fresh to salt water). I don’t have an exact count, but it’s over 30. Now they have their own tank, and enough space, it’ll be interesting to see the survival rate of the fry, given the overflow system. 🤔
