Just flash latest version of BF, make sure fc board direction is correct in the gyro calibration, then look up how to tune a micro drone. Mine flies great after scaling the throttle down to 55 - 65% in the PIDs for indoor. Then find your rates. Plenty of videos out there to do this. Fun little ripper!

Cute little bugger! My last "small" quad turned out to be a 3" racer, way to powefull for indoor flying. 😑 Pro tip as an electrician... Stick the battery cables all the way through the holes and then tin them in place! This way you get a much more solid connection mechanicaly speaking, for those vigorous battery ejects, and you don't risk riping of the pcb pads. 😅

Hey, love the Bubito build, bought one from you guys and just started messing around with it. When I arm the drone, the props spin up and then down rapidly, causing the drone to hop around on the ground even at the lowest throttle, then when I throttle up to start flying, it literally takes off and seems to have no control whatsoever - darts left and right at the very slightest touch of the pitch/yaw. I try just hovering in place but that's like trying to wrangle a wet pissed off cat into a bag...just not happening. I've built and flown a few drones of various sizes, never have I had such a hard time controlling a drone before, even in acro mode. Is there something off maybe in the config - do I need to tune it or something with Betaflight? Please help!

Love this drone! only thing I sincerely hate is the placement of the USB port... unscrew and move everything on top just to get to it. Other than that, I am super impressed and happy with it. I am terrible indoors but time will help.

Protip: If your tiny wires are silicone sheathed like they should be you can just use your thumbnail to strip the ends. This avoids accidentally cutting all or part of the wire strands.

I had the Iflight one, I loved it. Yes this drone is inspired by the baby nazgul. This is a high quality micro drone. The baby nazgul had weak arms, slow motors, and low output vtx. If you want a slow underpowered micro drone get the baby nazgul

followed the instructions exactly and it wont fly. Boots up and spins propellers but wont fly. Propellers are in the exact positions he has em in, tried both the reverse spin motor and normal spin motor options in beta flight.

Your back motors are rotating in the wrong direction, you have to change the motor direction of both back motors from blheli software

Yes batteries and components will be cheap and it will be harder to break it because it is so small and light. Also it allows you to fly in way more places than a normal quad where you have to worry about causing damage and people freaking out when there is a noisy 5in violently tearing through the air.

Just seen this, I have the ELRS version. No, I flashed the newest version of betaflight and slightly tuned it. Dailed FF back to .8, and I had a wobble during throttle punches so I raised PI I believe to 1.1 which took it away. I am pretty happy with how it flew with just that. A dump is a command line dump of everything programed onto the FC. The PID tune, rates, and other information would be contained in a CLI dump of a FC.

Someone should start a trend of using a rectifier diode or other simple device to add reverse polarity protection to drones. Shouldn't need to worry about blowing up the drone because +/- wires are backwards in 2022

If one is smart enough to solder a rectifier then they can probably check the polarity anyways. Also smoke stopper helps when there is a short circuit maybe due to soldering error, so better to use smoke stopper for the first time.
