moral of the story : anything even remotely weird, strange, or potentially bad, RUN. dont be dumb and curious, RUN. that's why Chris is still here telling so much cool stories like this. he knows when to run, survival instinct kicked in. when u wait and find out, finding out might be the last thing you did.

I was riding passenger with this girl one night and she hit a deer going like 35-40mph. It slid like 35 feet down the road. I walked up on it and could still see it moving a little. I then said to my buddy who was with us "guess we gotta put it down" I guess the deer heard me cause it jumped up and started booking it at us and then into the woods. Craziest part was the deers neck was broke so its head was almost upside down hanging off to the left. Its neck looked the letter U. Shit freaked me out lol.

Not really in a car, but after I sold it. Had an old black '64 Galaxie that would always have weird issues, even dying at one point, near a cemetery. Didn't think anything of it because that part of the road by the cemetery was on an incline and I thought the fuel pump or carb was going and starving the 390 of fuel but it was so weird it would always happen at that one spot, there was only one grave there too. About six months later when selling the car I was going through the paperwork and discovered the car only had one owner before the car was sold to the meth-head I bought it from. Decided to look up the original owner and discovered he had died a few years prior, buried at the same cemetery, right next to the road, where my car kept having issues.

About 10 years back I finished my ambulance shift working a duty night on the ambulance. This was a volunteer gig and I got out at say 1030-11 pm. The road to my house was a only 1 road maybe 10 minute drive this was a road I drove daily. I drove it fairly fast being a young adult and comfortable w this road. I whip a near blind turn maybe 45. There's this girl or young women right in my line, holding something above her head standing in the middle of the road knife or broken bottle was my best guess. But she was like eerie / like she looked to me like all 1 color her clothes and and i just immediately became uneasy. Like goose bumps chills. I whipped it into the on coming lane and barely missed her or it whatever. It deeply disturbed me and I called the police. They said 3 other people in a 10 minute window had seen the same thing. They came out nothing was ever found to prove anyone was ever standing in the road. No evidence someone crossed the guard rail to get in the road, , foot prints. The cops seemed convinced also it wasn't a prank and nothing was ever found out what happened that night. I've driven that road 100s of times since and never experienced anything in my life before or since like what happened that night. Not a single one of the people who witnessed it had any verbal communication. Nor physical and none of us knew how we avoided the girl or whatever it was... to this day I don't know What I saw that night. I've pondered it for the past decade and never got to the bottom of what happened that night.. I regretted for a while not turning around and heading back down to the spot but every red flag in my body told me to not turn around. Police also advised enroute and to not go back in attempt this was someone who either might attempt to murder or rob a passerby which was a genuine concern. Probably will never know in my lifetime what I witnessed that night. There is a group that lives near where this happened a religious community we will call it. I don't want to give out info against anyone literally down the road. It ran through my mind that this girl was being held for some reason and maybe escaped and they collected her before anyone arrived. Either that or it was ghost or someone suicidal. The later though you would assume to leave evidence.

I have the SAME story! Whatever I ran over went completely underneath the tires of my GMC Sierra. Felt like I ran over a cinderblock the middle of the road.. I got out and cannot find whatever I just hit. I saw a flash of something that I thought was a bobcat, but I never found out what it was.. it also happened in the middle of the night on a very dark and barely used Highway up a mountain..
