This is my favorite of the series so far! Man, I wish the books were longer (except the train one) because I can never stop reading them. Also, why is there no art within the damn books themselves. Like a scene with Donut and Carl on live talking their shit would be :).

Book 6 was my favorite because it's level mechanic resonated with me personally, but as a book on it's own I definitely agree with the majority of people saying this is the best of the series so far. So glad you guys are having so much fun with Dungeon Crawler Carl! 😂

Mine and a lot of others theory for the entire series is that since the story is being told from Carl while he’s on trial for the crimes he’s committed in and out of the Crawl. He tells the court his story from his POV and it’s why the story is written in past tense
