love how they all put the instruments away for the last song.....I really wish this version of the byrds lasted longer...

I wonder if The Lovin' Spoonful had to sing Eight Miles High on that show?

Yeah man, I have a Byrd's bootleg DVD of all their TV performances and that one always irked me. First off, totally from left field and puzzling and just reeks of the record label forcing a teen heartthrob persona.

So does Chris have that smile he can't wipe off his face, no matter how hard he tries?

Really really really thanx for sharing these treasures. It's so hard to find things of The Byrds in HD. I was born in the late 70's, with the punk and the bowie-t.rex eras, but I love to The Byrds. Is one of my Top 5 bands of my life. I'm a Crosby fan. I spent all night watching the new videos ha ha. Thanx again :)

As we can see, they were made to perform at gunpoint,

Anyone know if McGuinn was gay? Just curious. He certainly came off as a seer and a bard and a preacher, esp. with those glasses, even though he was singing Dylan.

Anyone know if Joe Appelbaum is gay? Just curious. He sure asks stupid questions and makes dumb comments about girls with long guns...

McGuinn isn't gay. He's just a bit of a phony.

Roger was married then to ianthe who recently published a kiss and tell biography. They divorced and Roger (still went by Jim in early byrds years. George Harrison never stopped calling him Jim) eventually married Camile still his wife today.
