@keithgoode631317 күн бұрын
Wouldn't be Cassie if she wasn't!
@alyxgriffen507317 күн бұрын
Well, technically, the unicorn wasn't evil, it was just super, super hardcore dedicated. The only person who can tame a unicorn, mythologically speaking, is a virgin, right? And the Virgin in this setup is the Final Girl. The Whôrę dies first, because she's the opposite of a virgin (and this would also presumably apply to male virgins and whõrès). And since these are American horror movie tropes, the rest of the characters wouldn't (presumably) be virgins, either. So if the unicorn is hardcore, and *offended* by non-virginity, everyone except the Virgin would be killed.
@stevesheroan413117 күн бұрын
@ Lol, that’s definitely one way to look at it, but I would still argue that killing any non-virgin is pretty evil, technically speaking. Doesn’t bode well for the propagation of the species either if the unicorn is successful.

@stevesheroan413117 күн бұрын
@ Your comments sparked my interest and after reading a few different sources I’ve determined that the lore for unicorns is maybe even more flexible than vampire lore. No two sources seem to agree across the board, but I did find several references that stated that unicorns could only be touched/tamed by virgins. Couldn’t directly find anything saying that they would attack non-virgins, but I don’t doubt that it’s out there.

Awesome reaction Cassie! I love this movie because it both embraces the traditional movie tropes and throws them out the window at the same time. Great use of humor and jump scares and intrigue, all making for a fun watch. Thanks for all the fun and thrilling reactions this scary season! Oh, and congrats to you and Carly both on the podcast! The whole PIB family is bringing fantastic content and it's very much appreciated.

Just too bad she didn’t “get it”. Even thought it’s pretty straightforward once the twist is revealed

If anyone has seen "The Substance" that came out recently, it has a similar hard right turn to crazy town at the end. Only the second time i have muttered "wtf am i watching?!?" to myself in a movie theater. The other? Cabin in the Woods 😂

Yup! I even put up a video on my channel about it since it was so strange. And later that week put up one for another strange one, Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls which had me muttering the same thing.

Insane movie, can’t recommend that here… poor woman would tap out… reasonably.

@CTEagleCeltic oh she's definitely not ready for it but you know how patreon is, they'll vote for it if she ever puts it on a poll without really knowing what it is

@ lol, she has to have enough real fans to save her psyche and give her the heads up… that or risk no more scary movies AT ALL.

while I agree with the comparison...The Substance went reaaaaaaly far left lol. It was quite disturbing

I love the genuine love and accidental shade of "Hey, it's Josh from the West Wing! Oh, and ... that guy."

"Cabin in the Woods is scarier than IT 2?" That person was trolling. Cabin in the Woods is hilarious.
