I don’t know if it’s just me but I get kinda bummed, I feel like anymore they put Roadkill Episodes out just for the sake of putting episodes out and I get the vibe that they are forcing any kind of enthusiasm or love in what they are doing or the vehicles they are choosing, like it’s lost it’s soul in a way. The vehicles they used to pick up were ones we wanted to see more of as they evolved but anymore the vehicles seem like they’re last minute, one episode, disposable purchases. With that said I love the show, it’s one of my favorites, and I don’t want to see it go anywhere. It’s inspired so much of the car content I have come to love and I will still watch. I realize this is probably just the typical lifecycle of these types of things and my words are going to change anything. Guess I just needed to rant. 🤷‍♂️

agreed. can't they just take someone's half-fast home brew hot rod, and then do the right thing to engineer the crappiness out of it and have it work for the win? i mean, the engine overheats and then they claim they never make up the drama...really? car guys can't figure out an overheating engine is going to cause a problem? the video would be far more entertaining if they just figured out the problem and solved it cheaply.

In 1983 we borrowed grandma’s year old DeVille to drive from Salt Lake to L.A. because there was no way we were going to roll the dice with the clapped out ‘72 Pinto wagon. My dad had the oil “changed” the morning we left. What actually happened was the service station drained the oil and forgot about replacing it. That Cadillac made it all the way to Barstow (650 miles) before doing exactly what happened here. 😂

absolutely agree! then they claim they don't invent drama...bullshift. you know an engine's overheating, go fix it. pull over to the side of the road like the rest of us, and get the cameraman in his car (unlike the rest of us) to go get the parts you need and diagnose and repair.
