5:36 the writing direct translate to English: 建国60周年 State founding 60th anniversary 国庆首都阅兵 National celebration capital military parade 空降兵方阵Airborne troop square formation 張宏亮 Zhang HongLiang (likely the wearer’s name) This is likely written by the wearer to commemorate the event, especially considering the national day parade is a very uncommon event of once every 10 years and soldier have to volunteer to be selected. The hand writing also is quite pretty, the signature is in traditional font, indicates the wearer must have put a lot of thought into this memorable piece.

I think China has a good concept, having a standard, simple uniform cut paired with a standard pattern that they adjust the colors on to be whatever they want. Some of their color choices are questionable but they don’t seem afraid of adjusting the colors if needed.

Both the colour and macro pattern of the 2nd Artillery Corps variant reminds me of the French lizard pattern more than woodland. Particularly the examples that have the lightest colour a very pale green rather than the almost-white (2:09 shows well).

The Jungle Pattern reminds me of the Philippine Marine Corps Camo, the colors look almost the same and is digitized.

The blue one imo made them look like janitors forced to do a white paint job. They should design cloud patterns as a removable accessories like wrapping helmet bands, ribbons or armbands. Similar to the Russian's St George ribbon. It's also cheaper to produce as well.

China has a large collectors market and they show up on second hand apps like XianYu quite a lot. Sellers double or triple the prices and list them where foreigners can then purchase.

I think recent emergence of various camouflage patterns in KPA(Korea People’s Army) might following China’s old footstep. With supreme leader and military generals directly influencing camouflage development, those patterns became blatant show-off rather than actual practical uses.

2:02 minute, that camo pattern was copy from Colombian pixel camo which was created first than Chinese one, in 2006 Colombia army issued this camo pattern to its soldiers, then China in 2007 started using the same pattern. Anyway, I'm not surprise about the China copy behavior as always.

Nope. The Chinese CAPF troops or now PAP troops has already adopted its own type 05 digital camo in 2005. I guess colombians took that camo as their reference.

@@14tsondu-tenzing88 I think you are wrong, the Colombian camo patter called "pixel" was created first than the Chinese one. The camo was issued to troops in 2006, before that year, China doesn't had the digital camo yet. In a past video, I comment the same, and he answered me that both camo were independent or different projects, but that Chinese doesn't "copy". This could sounds logical, but I'm not trust, because everyone knows the copy behavior from China. Anyway, both countries has updated their camos, so, and now they are different and original too.

It's possible that the Colombian camo pattern & uniform were designed and made in China making it easier for China to copy. All they would have to do is just produce more of the fabric for their own use.

@@Riceball01 no, Colombian army has their own fabric and designer named batallón logístico Las Juanas, so, the uniforms was designed and made in Colombia, also the new uniform issued in 2023 "camaleón" was designed and made in the country, not in China. Colombian design and made their own uniforms from 2006 till now. Before 2006 Colombia army used the woodland camo pattern. So, China has never design or made uniforms for Colombian army.

Pretty sure Red Dawn 2012 just made copies of the issued camo as it was originally supposed to be China not North Korea as the invaders. It was changed after Chinese gov didn’t like being seen as the villains/losers.
