i went to Botcon 2000, and saw poster art for Transtech and fell in love with it. It took Beast wars and made them into machines: Cheetor car, Monkey Truck, etc.

Great vid! I learned about transtech when I was dumpster diving through TFwiki a while back. Ultimately, I'm glad it didnt get made because doubling down on the failure of BM may have actually killed the brand, vs Armada which is still the best selling TF line to date.

Excellent video! The only thing I'd be tempted to add to this would be that what we came to know as RID (2001), AKA Car Robots over in Japan, was only imported because TransTech got cancelled and Hasbro went "Oh crap, we need something to put Transformers on shelves with!". For which I'm personally quite grateful as those toys rocked.

As a Rhode Island native and one of the kids who used to watch Beast Wars and Beast Machines, I can honestly say it was a MAJOR disappointment that Transtech wasnt continued in some form as a show or toyline. I would have liked to see a new Cybertron and Cheetor take a leadership role. I loved the concepts and I thought they'd revitalize the series.

Great video. I was wondering if you can do a video talking about the shopping, sneaker and scalper bots that is affecting the manufacturing and shopping of all retail stores and consumers. It happened to me recently due to a recent purchase of the G I Joe Cobra Island Major Bludd release, in which I tried to get the Cobra Island Major Bludd release at my local Target store. I paid for it and I was going to get it from the local Target store this past Saturday, and then I found out, that when I paid for it on Friday of last week, it was immediately sold out after I paid for it. I was refunded the money, but, I really think that this is what I have found out, and is currently a problem. This is what I think needs to be addressed. I have contacted Target Corporate, Walmart online, PayPal and even Hasbro Pulse about it. There are shopping and scalper bots that are currently working that are scalping even the current release of the Snake Eyes and Timber from Hasbro Pulse website and is selling it for an inflated price on eBay, even though it is not available for retail stores until next month. There's even shopping bots like Carnage and EVE AIO X that are currently available for download. I talk about it in my Major Bludd review video on my channel in the description box, but I think that it needs to be addressed, even with your subscribers, because it is happening now, and to me, that's an idea for your next video. If scalpers are using these scalper bots and shopping bots on eBay for the PS5, what is to say that they are not using it for G I Joe or anything Hasbro Pulse website related, including Transformers as well?

Thanks! That definitely is an interesting one, I'd love to do a video on this, though it'd be another one a bit research heavy. I know for a fact there's documentation of bot use on Twitter, especially during Firefly/Cobra Viper's release. Right now, in regards to G.I. Joe related content, I want to work on a "State of the Brand" type video, as an update to my previous Classified video, but I'd like to wait for Yo Joe June to conclude to fully paint a more fair picture.
