Thank you again for the 1,000 subscribers! As a bit of a celebration, I've prepared a larger video topic as we discuss and explain a bit of the history on the archfiend of the Transformers universe, the Chaos Bringer Unicron. Considering his recent appearance in the Netflix Transformers War for Cybertron series, as well as his rumored role in the upcoming Rise of the Beasts film, I think it's appropriate to take some time to talk about our favorite Chaos God. Eat your spark out Loki.
We'll take a look at his design history, his prototypes, and his various appearances across a variety of series.

What I am really interested in is whether Unicron sleeps in the earth as his Transformers form or as his round planetary form. I personally would prefer the Transformers form. Imagine when he wakes up and moves his limbs, destroying the earth in the process. Would be cool to see in a movie scene.

After playing Persona 5 Royal and reading up a bit on the SMT lore along with their real life inspirations, I think Unicron is not Robot Satan. Instead he is the Transformers’ equivalent to Yaldabaoth. According to Gnosticism, Yaldabaoth is created by Sophia of the lower aeon and it is commonly viewed as a malevolent force of evil in the material world whom bounded souls of mortals to physical bodies which Gnosticism often sees as the prisons of the souls. Yaldabaoth is also considered to be the real identity of God depicted in the Old Testament versus the New Testament. An evil, angry and violent god whose name is derived from an Aramaic expression jaldā bahôt which either comes out as descendant of Chaos or son of Chaos. Interpretations of the deity also makes him out as a destroyer as well. Sounds familiar? In an earlier draft of the 1986 movie, a freshly defeated Megatron perishes in a brawl between the Decepticons in a bid for leadership when a statue fell on him and his Lifespark (What would be the precursor to the Spark and used as the name of Cyclonus’ former self in Target: 2006) leaves before Unicron or one who would become Unicron seizes it and makes a new body for him. In the Marvel US continuity, him and Primus were once incorporeal entities before they gained their physical bodies with Unicron a cast-off from Primus himself. In Season 3’s Call of the Primitives, Unicron was a robotic creation of Primicron from a long time ago who turned on him because of his error and becoming a mythological figure from then on. Much like how Sophia had created Yaldaboath without her other. Thoughts?

Very valid to bring up, thanks for sharing. I said "Robot satan" to generally refer to the evil giant space being, the opposite of their god, but I think that's much more fitting. Thanks for watching!

Some people are dying to have another Transformers movie in the works, which they called it Rise of Unicron. If he were to fully appear, what would he look like in planet and robot mode or some TFP inspired form? Top of all, who will portray him? Since Orson Welles is long gone, Unicron's bass voice is a definite sound with a booming, ancient god-like, cavernous, and black timbre that makes him sound like he's the dark god of chaos, destroyer, and devourer of worlds and multiple universes. He's literally like Satan, Thanos, Darkseid, and Galactus all together.

I respect the fact that Orson Wells still did his best as the voice of Uncron when he didn't even like Transformers. What a great guy! Also does that WFC Unicron figure count as a Colossal - Titan?😏
