Hot take but beast wars is the best transformers show. Yes the animation is dated but that’s because they made characters look like the toys it’s just that someone convinced them to change the designs since the toys look goofy and that destroyed the budget and making the world kinda plain. I never watched all of Prime, I just watched a lot of clips and compilations. Therefore I don’t have a concrete opinion on it. However I cannot help but love how well you made this video and constructed your arguments. Especially with Optimus and Megatron as outside of their voices, I saw little of what made me love them in G1. Also 37:27 was brilliantly done. Perfectly sums up how silly his character conclusion was.

An interesting part of the story, is that Rico and Nanachi are a LOT like Bondrewd. he even notices as much when they confront him in the lab. Rico break down what he was doing and even understands a lot of the logic behind it at a glance, while nanachi not only helped him in his experiments, she even continued them on divers that she encountered in the fourth layer as she attempted to cure mitty. Part of why it can be said that bondrewd didn't do anything wrong, is that in their world, the abyss demands nothing less than what he has done, to even stand a chance in the deeper layers. he thinks. the number of lives his experiments and actions have saved in the abyss is arguably comparable to the number of victims that he has created. he's unquestionably a monster by our worlds metric, but in his own verse? dude is one of the VERY few things preventing the abyss from causing the end of humanity.

the logic of some of the analyses in this vid is questionable but it was entertaining nonetheless

The way I see it, there's not much sense in arguing the morals of a person that has decidedly stopped being a person long ago. Bon's for most intents and purposes a superorganism whose sense of self is barely held together by a mask, a phylactery and some proverbial duct tape. He has more in common with the bees he burns at the start of the movie than any genuine human being, dude's basically just another creature of the abyss at this point, just a crazy mind parasite that infects people and learned to love uninfected people genuinely yet without attachment as a survival strategy. It's even possible that Bon, having likely experienced death and mutation many times himself, and total loss of humanity at least once, simply figured that such fates aren't a big deal in the grand scheme of things, or that some superficially disadvantaged state changes are arguably preferable to dealing with human limits. Seeing that he is probably the only person that knows what exactly being a soul-reverbrating stone is like he probably saw no issues with turning Prushka into one, and other characters do talk about her like she's essentially just a telepathic consciousness inside the stone so I guess he did have a point there.

Dude you liked Transformers animated and disliked Prime, I am sorry you are wrong here the show is close to the original material (books) and also Optimus was the best from this series.

TFP<TFA Tfp is just action and mellowdrama while tfa had plots that lasted over the course of an entire season while also balancing the side filler.

TFP Megatron had resources other versions of Megs would KILL for. A working groundbridge, the most loyal version of Soundwave, a Spaceship, a whole ass Army, and established supply chains with mining infrastructure. Then TFP Megatron squandered it ALL on Dark Energon. Animated Megatron with those resources would have won within just 2 episodes. TFP Megs just didnt do anything. TFP Megatron feels like a larper, a pretender. To quote TFA Megatron, he's nothing but a 'cheap copy'.
