This. Is. So COOL!!!!!!!! Congrats Alisa!!! I want lots of content about driving product from a place of creative story telling. Designing product for the digital artist? I'm a big fan of procreate, never have gone deep with adobe but totally an industry I'd kill to move my career to! so excited to see how things evolve.

Hi Alisa. Big congratulations on your new job. Wish you the very best... I tried getting into digital marketing throughout this year as a matter of fact. But I feel (felt) like I was drowning. My friend just told me about project management a few days ago and I feel this is the next thing for me, for the new year and all. But I'm really scared, I don't want to waste the next year again on a failed career. I'm sorry if I'm pouring my whole heart here and talking too much. But it's really hard, and the worst part is. I don't know what I did wrong in my last career (digital marketing). I feel like I did not have enough information or know the right steps to take and I don't want that to repeat itself again. I have watched a lot of your videos and I found out that, your first Job was because your friend kinda told the company about you or something. My question is what if I don't find anybody that can help me with a Job. Job hunting is very hard, internship searching is also very hard. I really don't know what to do, apart from getting certificates. Thank you for reading my very long message 😆. Thank you for your reply too. I would love to hear from you, Alisa works ( I just came out of school though, very broke by the way)..... I'm just trying to get a more financial stable like BTW.

Congratulations! Are you moving in SJ? Adobe is an incredible company, I was interviewing there several years ago, but their requirements were too high for my level.

Hi Alissa, Hope you are well. Im very recently discovered your channel and slowly working my way through all your videos. Everything you say makes sense and resonates with me. It’s reassuring to hear you also face some of the challenges im also facing. I have a small favour to ask, im currently prepping for a product management role at apple. I would love if you spare me 15-30 mins one day in terms of prep just to rehearse some answers. I am already in a similar role but in finance, happy to discuss more if we speak. I’m more than willing to exchange ideas over email, speak on phone and willing to pay for your time. I can imagine you’re inundated with similar requests but if you dont ask you dont get. Either good lick and keep up the great content. I will be sharing your channel within my organisation. Thanks

Hey Alisa, you're videos are extremely insightful-- you've been nothing short of valuable to me on my journey. I have 1 question if you don't mind... Is it possible for me to go straight into PM, or should I do associate PM first as a "foot in the door"? Context: I'm a recent college grad w/ a comp sci degree, a lil bit of software engineering experience, and I hate coding. Thank you Alisa

Hello and thank you for the question! You do not have to start as an APM, especially if you are at a smaller company. That being said, an APM position is a great foot in the door for getting into product management. Good luck!
