The best heel ever in the wwf, and one of the best characters in wrestling, I remember that ball kicking skit as a kid and I hated him so much, a truly iconic wrestler and his theme song was awesome aswell

As a kid, I really hated him and hate every rich person with that ACTUAL personality today. As an adult, this whole video made me smile with nostalgia ☺️ Also, if you get a chance, look up some of dibiase’s recent interviews. Guy’s a beaut!

His feud with Terry Gordy was a great angle the even went so far as to tell the T. V. audience they weren't allowed to show it on t. v. after about two weeks because it was to shocking still my favorite angle of all time

One of the best gimmicks, he sold it perfectly. Some guys get a crappy gimmick but imagine been Ted when Vince approaches you and said, "I got this gimmick, you are going to be a millionaire and I will give a back roll to go and spend money". Every one had to travel coach, Ted got first class.

A lot of industry legends like Dusty, Rick Rude and especially Heyman always feel Austin has big potential but until the Stone Cold gimmick they could never find the right character, he is neither too babyface nor heel

Because of Hulkamania alot of great wrestlers didnt become champ. I always thought it was better for Hogan to chase the belt he was insanely over he didnt need the belt

Ted Dibiase should have been a World Champion for at least one time, you know like Iron Sheik and Stan Stasiak. Ted is a legit heel and he could be enjoying a good world title reign that could last until the next show where he would lose the belt to guys like Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan

Sadly, much like with Mr. Perfect (who also should've been champion at least once), I can't help but feel that Hogan didn't want to put him over. As a kid, I wouldn't have liked The Million Dollar Man (or Perfect) as the Heavyweight champ, but I was a kid so I loved Hogan. As an adult, it was robbery that neither of those 2 had a run because of Hogan.

I vividly recall the kid getting the ball kicked away from Dibiase. It was such a huge heel moment...classic. I always felt that he'd make it up to the folks backstage...glad to hear that he did.

I met him a few years back at a minor league baseball game. He stayed even after the game was over to sign and take pics with every person who waited hours in line to see him. He even autographed my Million Dollar Man wrestling buddy and cracked up when he saw it. Absolutely a class act and one of the best heels of all time!

The kid who Dibiase kicked the basketball is now a car salesman. He's now 6'4". They ran into each other when Minister Dibiase was looking to buy a car. There's a picture online with them together that day.

I HATED DiBiase as a kid, which goes to show what a fantastic heel he was in the late 80’s. Everything about the Million Dollar Man was just top notch, classic heel work. That laugh is also unforgettable. As an adult, I too have become a fan of heel wrestlers, so my appreciation for DiBiase has grown considerably. I have also come to appreciate DiBiase’s fantastic work in the ring.

Alan Dempsey Austin’s said they didn’t. SCSA said they had talked the details of the reversal ahead of time, but he kept asking Owen did he know how to do it. Owen was like “yeah”, but they never actually practiced the pile driver itself.

He was great as a heel. He knew how to work the crowds. When he decided to change his lifestyle and become a pastor, l was quite suprised. But he seemed to be happy,so,who am l to question his decision? It has given his life and heart a purpose. I am happy for him.

I remember as a kid reading an old WWF annual and seeing a section on Ted Dibiase, My initial reaction was "I didn't know Noel Edmonds was in WWF".. That said Ted Dibiase was brilliant and played the character to perfection.. I dare say there were many out there who if given the same gimmick would have totally botched it.. Also that laugh is legendary :)

Taker at that time was more zombie like and morbid. That match 5 years later would have been more exciting.
