Always sounds like hearing her for the first time.

From the 1981 album, " Made in America", this is the last of their singles to reach the top 40's, making it to Number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100's. The beautiful orchestration, with lush strings and a great arrangement, featured Karen's totally pure vocals, delivers a sweet message of love, as only Karen could do.❤ Tom Scott provides the wonderful sax that is such a delightful addition. Great reaction Handsome Harri.❤❤ Beautiful choice Imadrummin. 👏👏 Cheers from Canada❤❤🇨🇦🇨🇦

She left us all too soon. Her voice has never been matched because she really was...One of a kind. Every song she sang with her brother had the power to generate Loving Tears. And that sound is still generating a warmth that will never be beat. Karen was a lonely soul with a heart of a Princess who's smile stays in your mind.

I must admit the way that you react to songs and comment is refreshing, wonderful and simply genuine. My best to you brother!

Another great one from the lovely Karen Carpenter. I find it difficult to watch her live performances of this song because she had become so emaciated by this time. Her loss was a tragedy for her family and for the entire world. Nice choice and thoughtful review. Thanks Harri and Imadrummin 🌸💐✌️

Trivia: The country group, Alabama, had a #1 country hit with this song in 1986 here in the US. It was their 20th #1 hit.

This is one of my favorite Carpenters songs but is not well know. I grew up with the Carpenters so I have enjoy it for many years. Another not well know song from the Carpenters to react to is 'Kiss Me The way You Did Last Night'

The lyrics she's singing is exactly how I felt when I was dancing. I was to distracted with those wonderful memories, so I wasn't paying attention to associate it with the BeeGees, Harri.

This hit gave us a hint of what the Carpenters might have sounded like in the 80s, but alas, Karen perished just two years later.

The 2nd saddest thing about Karen: the beautiful songs she never got to sing - and that we never got to hear...

I am born in 72, and about eight years old I was walking on the main shopping street of my hometown in Norway. And I heard the voice of Chrissy Hynde from a record store. I think it was I go to sleep. Can you do that one?
