They’re all fantastic - no joke. Hetty is a guilty pleasure, and in the flashback to when she was still alive, she gave a stirring rendition of her haughty, entitled, and mostly humorless self [you’ll want to write this down: our phone number is…4] that showcased her abilities as an actor. Her torrid affair with the washing machine was fantastic. And Utkarsh being possessed by Hetty - he NAILED her character with perfection. I’m 57, I’ve watched and loved hundreds and hundred of shows. This one is easily in my top three in my lifetime. I hope it lasts forever.

I absolutely love this show the characters all so amazing. I watch every episode often binging reruns and every time I wind up with a lot of loud cackling and squealing. They have the best lines and Heddi always comes up with the most hilarious comments. Please let Fower come back for visits. I miss her forgetting everything! Love this show and can't get enough. I LOVE GHOSTS! It was also really cool for CBS to air some of the original UK version this past winter while the writers/actors were on strike. But glad we were able to get back to the US version. The new storyline adding Pete's wife into a ghost character was welcomed with Flower's absence, but I am happy to see Flower's return this Thursday.

They explained it in this week's episode that she's been shagging her way through Woodstone; slept with Baxter? (The Fife guy), an Unnamed basement ghost (I think) and Nancy Hope they have her sucked off. There's just something about her character that I can't stand. Also hope they suck off Stephanie,; she's meant to be 17, her actress is turning 24 but looks about 26 and the 80s hair and makeup drastically ages her. And she's horrible

Having a baby in the show would be so fun to watch because the ghosts would be able to see it grow up. And the baby would be able to see them! Later on when the baby starts to get a little older the baby wont be able to see them anymore and thinks they were its imaginary friends and that would be bitter sweet for both the child and the ghosts.

My name is Laurie. I, know exactly how you feel. Actually, you're very lucky to have access to recording equipment to capture everything. My children are 38 and 36. When our boys were little, they were in daycare. The youngest came home with 4 finger marks on his legs at 9 months old. The oldest, 2.5 came home with dried blood and a cut on the top of his head. We couldn't believe that both of them had been hurt on the same day. We went back to the daycare the next day and confronted the director and the employees. They actually had the nerve to tell me that my baby was sticking his legs through the crib and that's how he got the marks on his legs. He never did that at home, I told them why he would he do it here. The oldest son, they didn't know that he had gotten hurt. The teacher was actually upset about it. That was the last day they were in daycare until they were older. I became a stay at home mom. We tried again when the youngest was 4. I wanted him to be able and old enough to tell me exactly what was happening at daycare. We did it over the summer, so the boys would be together. That didn't work out either, the same problem. They were getting hurt, and we didn't know about it. I ended up being a stay at home mom until the youngest was in 6th grade. I wouldn't have traded it for the world. My youngest son has 3 kids of his own. He wants his wife to be a stay at home mom, too. As old-fashioned and not always an option, it is well worth it.

At the beginning of Season 3 they lead you to believe Flower got sucked off….but as of the most recent episode they find Flower in the well and get her out. We find out that ghost who got sucked off was the teenage basement ghost Ralph-who had just moved up to the attic to be with the prom night ghost who sleeps most of the year.

Jay CAN communicate with one ghost - Sassapis can enter the dreams of the living, and in one ep Jay figures out it’s the ghost Sass playing the basketball referee in his dreams and they get to talk ‘face to face’. That was a slick move which the show pulled off perfectly.

If you haven’t seen Ghosts UK, you’re missing out. Started watching it last week. It’s a different vibe but every bit as fun as this one, in its own very British way. Useless trivia: the cholera pit is called the plague pit in the UK version, and all of the folks in the plague pit are also all of the mains from upstairs recycled as plague victims and barely recognizable in those character’s personas. Also - the US show is helmed by almost all of the actors from the British show - who also helmed the UK show! Those folks are a brilliant bunch.

I like both versions, but I must say.The UK version is better, The Brits have an edge with this type of humor. They just do. One example is the "sucked off" line. The British version uses it too, and in context, it was very funny. The American version continues to use it constantly, beating it over our heads until it isn't funny anymore. The British double entendres are generally more sophisticated. The Americans tend to lean more towards the pureille.
