Dr. Tina Peers breaks down the reason why MCAS mast cell activation syndrome and histamine intolerance are rooted in the symptoms of so many conditions, including interstitial cystitis and chronic pelvic pain conditions, skin issues, withdrawal from benzos and other psych meds, IBS, SIBO, sinus inflammation etc. MCAS in itself is often a manifestation of gut dysbiosis and leaky gut. She also breaks down the role MCAS plays in long-haul covid patients and discusses certain treatments that she employs in her own practice.

I have a feeling she doesn’t understand MCAS any more than us sufferers do, and just uses her medical agree to pretend she does. And what the hell was that bit about that aweful scam device smh.

Hey, this was very interesting. Old me (pre keto me), however, is highly skeptical of some of this. Like the small electric current machine that boosts ATP production. I wish she'd given a physiological reason or explanation of how that works. Old me thinks it smacks of "magnetic belts" or "snake oil." Now, with that said, "new me" has recommended this video to 3 people already who might benefit. I got a friend who's been almost a year and a half in a state nursing home - he's not even old - weakened by what seems to be super long covid. If this could help him, it would be a miracle. Anyway, before people jump on me, I want to be better understood. I'm not saying any of this is wrong. Heck, I am willing to try some of this myself. I'm not, I would argue, being close-minded. But I would like things better explained (esp. if they are expensive - I'm on a budget and can't gamble willy nilly). So the mico current device: I will see if I can find more info on it - like studies - but if anyone else can find something, please post it here. Structured water. Sara Pugh drives me crazy mentioning that and other "quantum" health things. I love her - her talks are great - and I will watch any video she is in - I am a fan. I just wish she'd explain it better. S.W. is often presented as "so-and-so has done amazing work on it" and "there actually is another form of water, and it occurs in your body" and ... it is never really explained. Are we supposed to buy bottles of structured water? I can't imagine it would remain structured if we drink it and it passes through membranes to enter our system. I do wish someone would put a link for a really good explanation of what S.W. is and how to take advantage of it - and are there any good studies on it. I've looked. I understand physics reasonably well, too. But I've yet to find what I would call a great article on this. If it is helpful, that would be marvelous. I'm not against it. I just am hoping to find better info. Grounding - lots of people swear by it - I've gone out barefoot for as long as I can (in the sun) ... and ... I don't notice anything. Some grounding studies seem promising but are kind of all over the place - and not repeatable. One person seems to be involved w most pro-grounding studies, which makes some people suspicious. It's cheap, one could argue, so why not try it? Maybe I need to try it longer. I'm not even sure what's supposed to happen from it, what the benefits are (2 months of going off pufa oil, my migraines stopped, phantom smells stopped, other inflammation caused probs I had stopped - I will try things - I do want things to work - but I get how not eating pufa is supposed to work - that is very, very well explained! so please keep this in mind). Sorry if I sound like I'm being a wet rag. I don't mean to. I do think that better, fuller physiological explanations of these things would be very helpful. I'll post links if I find something promising. Thanks for reading - thanks in advance to anyone who has good info on these topics. Take care - and feel better (and if you think these things are worth trying, please do try them if you want - I'm not saying anyone shouldn't!).

Ya I've never noticed grounding helping me and the sun isn't healing me despite living in Florida now. Fasting seems to help the most.

Most of the issues she describes with the women i have dealt with and electrolytes addressed it largely for me. Melatonin was part of the cause as well. My vagal nerve is highly sensitive. I was scribbed hydroxyzine for anxiety issue which is effective if having panic issues.

At min 37, she is referring to machines that look at vibrational energies & where your energy is stuck in your body. Examples would be Zyto or the AO Scan unit.

@The Carnivore Lion Diet is first, including plant medicines. No amount of fasting, light or grounding can overcome a dietary deficiency or treat a chronic parasitic burden.

@@darkfieldcarnivore3928 The body via frequencies that it emits, will invite parasites in. Everyone is kill happy thinking parasites are the root cause and they're not. They're there and invited in to clear up toxicity in a system that's detox processes are shut down and overburdened. Remove the toxicity, heal the nervous system, and the body will rid itself of the parasites.

Look into Mark Pimentel’s research about post-infectious IBS caused by anti-vinculin antibodies if SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) symptoms ring a bell for you (bloating/abdominal distention, frequent bowel movements, food intolerances). Treatment consists out of stimulating your migrating motor finctipn by means of fasting and small intestinal prokinetics, avoiding food poisoning like the plague, and getting enough vitamin D in hoping it will downregulate the autoimmune anti-vinculine antibodies causing an immune response to the enteric nerve cells containing this cytoskeletal protein.
