Thank you, someone finally said it, it's not capitalism it's corporationalism. Capitalism needs individual rights of all people to be protected, because the entire idea is that individuals making independent financial decisions in their best interests results in the best overall financial outcomes at the macro level, it's the entire idea of the invisible hand, and this can't happen without protected individual rights, with corporations having more "human" rights than humans and rampant corruption.

I like your new channel and love that you have invited Cenk to discuss his proposed Presidential run. If I weren't a foreign donor, I would contribute to support Cenk. Both the US and the UK are in need of stable, balanced and ethical leaders at the moment, and without them western-democracy is doomed. After 2024, we're potentially looking at the dismantling of the western world as we know it. We can't afford to allow greedy, narcissistic politicians to sleepwalk us into this maelstrom.

Well done you Anthony. I'm a South African who is overly obsessed with American politics, to the degree that I go way beyond boiling point. Why? Because surely one is able to identify whether elected officials are actually REPRESENTING the people, which is what I thought was the foundation of a decent Democracy. Keep it simple - implement logic, morals and ethics and respect the essential requirement to agree to disagree and work to find a compromise, which has nothing to do with your personal ambition and self-promotion? Wasn't expecting your candid and open approach to someone like Cenk.

Only came here for Cenk; expected it to be a shitshow. Was pleasantly surprised to find a level-headed Mooch and not the goof of the Trump admin. But here's the rub: Is he this reasonable when a Republican/conservative is on? Does he have the fortitude to push back against nonsense? Because I've seen other reasonable-seeming conservative hosts just embrace the crazy when they get a one-on-one discussion with a "conservative".
@viperstew781911 ай бұрын
Mooch! Please do your part to get the word out about what common people share as goals. Whoever becomes the leaders of the future, we can't have them manipulating a system that keeps us all as serfs... Or under the thumb of a theocratic government. I'm a progressive, but hawkish on keeping America strong and helping allies, while not going into elective wars, like Iraq. And I am a retired USAF officer and F-16 pilot living in Ukraine since 2011. And now a journalist. We cannot let the population of the US be manipulated by Tucker Carlson and the like to be anti-Ukrainian. Go see what Kurt Volker says about this. I was on Maidan in 2013 when Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) spoke on that frigid December day in support of the ordinary citizens in fledgling democracies against the authoritarian governments that would do us in. Ukraine is fighting the battle that NATO was set up for, and they will win if we support them. BTW, the aid to Ukraine that gets here is obsolete weapons the US will be replacing in short order for new systems for the US. But somehow the right of Ronald Reagan is now the pro-Kremlin party! And corporate rule must end. Yes, Citizens United and Plessy are anti-thetical to what America aspires to be in its best moments. Thanks for seeing that progress is good, and conserves the values of the ordinary citizen, whether they understand that, despite corporate media, or not. Show people how they can vote that doesn't betray their own self-interests by throwing the red herring of the other out there.

As a first generation Canadian of Italian descent, I was thoroughly disgusted with the previous incarnation of Mucc as a rabid Trumpist! He had to learn for himself that he had absolutely nothing in common with the amoral, con man Donald Trump. His 180° turn had to occur if he was true to his roots. A person can't forget where they came from and the values, principles, that they grew up with. Mucc has evolved into a thoughtful, rationale human being, and I am truly happy with his evolution. This interview is how interviews should be conducted. No screaming, no belittling - presenting facts and well thought out analysis. I agree with Cenk in that Joe Biden needs democrat primary opponents. I still feel that Bernie Sanders is the best choice for the democrats but unfortunately his age will now be a factor. He is still a vibrant person though, who communicates well and would make Trump or any republican look foolish in any debate. Cenk ... I like that you want to enter the democratic primary to kickstart interest in the democratic race. Maybe 2028 or 2032 would be better for you to take a serious run as a potential candidate for president. You need to work on keeping your emotions under control. I have seen you get too emotional at times with MAGA type provacateurs in the past! A Bernie Sanders presidency would go a long way to correcting the ills perpetrated by Trump and the corrupt GOP on the American people!

In 2017, Mr. Uygur was forced out of the group Justice Democrats, a group he co-founded that backs progressive congressional candidates around the country, after his old blog posts objectifying women came to light. Mr. Uygur’s long history of comments about women included ranking them on a scale of 1 to 10, based on how likely men would be to have them perform oral sex. He also defended a similar ranking by Harvard’s men’s soccer team, which was widely condemned at the time.

American politics needs a fresh voice to point out where the polarized sides are more similar than they think in some areas, as well as more different (lately) than they think in some areas, and generally they're both the opposite issues of what most seem to think. Cenk is that guy. I don't agree with him 100% but I watch him on TYT and while he drives me up a wall on an occasional topic, I agree with him most of the time. BEWARE a politician that DOESN'T drive you up a wall occasionally, because if they don't, it's generally because they aren't saying anything of substance... or you're agreeing with them 100%... in which case you should seriously consider if you haven't found your way into a cult. *cough* Trumpers *cough*
