Buckin is an absolute genius when it comes to teaching all of us with cutting trees down, filing chains, and a unbelievable teacher with explaining what he his doing throughout all of his videos. He's a great man someone we should learn from his videos. God bless this man and his lovely family.

That crack you speak of the lil 2511T with a West Coast Saw muffler is the craziest lil demon saw (stock no porting) I have ever run!

Hi Buckin, I know exactly what you mean when you talk about crack and pull. I have built a few Husky 372"s using Harvey's build technique's and they are wicked and dead reliable day in and day out. I have not done any work to my Husky 572 yet other than one of my pipes and that really woke that saw up.

Would love to see how you handled that one ? I’m really digging these videos ! Your years of experience show . I done tree work for 14 years on Long Island …. Best job I ever had . Got into the laborers union in 99 and retired in 2019 cause of a cancer diagnosis ! I’m good now at 67 yrs old . But boy do I miss the tree work . Bought 3 acres with a modular home on it …. Was 2 1/2 acres wooded , over the 5 years I’ve been here it cleared now . Still have a few I’d like to get rid of … I’m just across the Saint Lawrence in Cape Vincent NY . To me your the best thing on You Tube!

A lot of the older sawyers seem to prefer the 372 to the 572 in my area. From what I gather, those saws are reliable as they come and have really broad power, especially the non x-torq models? ...I think. I'm not a husky guy so I might be getting them confused.

How do you think it will react to the wound created eliminating the codominance? Because spiraling it and so reducing the vigorousity of the codominance as you also suggest might be enough to make the tree choose the main straight stem over the that one as a single leader... hard to say. Thanks!

is there a maximum bar length to engine cc? I have 62cc with 20 inch bar, I've done a lot but I'm fighting the trunk now. was wondering if I could put a bigger bar on and how big I could go, as I have a 4 foot girth ash lying on a 30 degree bank so I can't maneuver around it like I want to. or is it sensible to buy something bigger. hoping for help. thanks for the vids.
