Like ur body is just not another body, if it was than why do you take so much care of it, it's an instrument for you to carry out your life, right, without it what, ll u be able to think, connect, do and manifest anything. Similarly, idol is a device just like the cosmos is and supreme Brahman is, who is again within us and in everything, so what is superficial?? Everything is him, from him and in him, so what is superficial?? Everyone has their way and right of practicing their spiritual/ritualistic practices, just the way they feel like, as per their grasping power, if u know so much about scriptures than u must know that everyone is vibrating in various levels of consciousness, everyone is not born to be or as Krishna (even though they all are him only but has forgotten due to so many birth and death cycle) but they all can aspire to be so gradually n murti makes it easy for people to focus upon, it's like an yantra to connect with the divine, example: without the space rocket 🚀 no one can go to space or do research upon it, also just like a mother whose focus is best when her kid is in front of her.. some can directly connect with the divine (direct source) after few years of practice of meditation and so on things and some can like Swami Vivekananda, Ramakrishna Paramhansa and etc ppl who through murti puja, gyana, bhakti, raja, karma, hatha yog and meditation achieved it. 😊🙏 Hindu means everyone has an access as per their capabilities and abilities to connect with God based upon their choice n understanding level.

you mentioned children... Well i live in middle class society/area... Almost 9 out 10 couples who have married in last 10 yrs are satisfied with 1 child.. On the contrary muzlms don't care about resources /govt jobs/good lifestyle.. In their majority areas i found morr children than adults. so imagine 15-20 yts from now, there will be 3 to 5 more child against 1 hindu child, means more muzlm voters, more in police & armed forces, civil services. . Plus no one child family would risk their only child in fighting during riots.... So muzlm don't have to even fight... just increase in numbers & state will provide education, food for family, hospital... Simply capture the country by voting over long period of time...

Koenraad Elst, true to form, was speaking the hard truth about kashmiri pandits when Ashish became defensive. Prior to 1990, they were, by and large, hard secularists/leftists. Not just Nehru, but Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi's administration had an over representation of Kashmiri Pandits, because of which many had a chip on their shoulders. In the field of arts, many such as MK Raina and AK Hangal were stalwarts of left propaganda that belittles Hindu tradition and provides a cover for Islamist violence. Answer me this - while there were pandits involved with the Muslim Conference/National Conference, and of course the Congress, who were the pandits, if any, involved in the Praja Parishad and its movement of full integration of J&K that resulted in the killing of many protesters by J&K police, culminating in the martyrdom of Shyama Prasasd Mukherjee in 1953? They were all solidly behind Nehru, until the chickens came to roost in 1990. There is a simple lesson for Hindu unity here cutting across regions and jatis that if we do not stand together, we will fall separately. While Dr Mukherjee made the supreme sacrifice, it was under the VP Singh govt running with BJP support that the 1990 genocide happened and they did not think it necessary to withdraw their support on the issue, let alone launch any movement nationally to bring the Hindus together on the issue. It is a matter of time before history repeats itself in other parts of India, unless the Hindu consciousness develops quickly to assert itself and give us leaders of the stature of Pratap, Shivaji, Sambhaji, Maharana Raj Singh, Swami Dayanand Saraswati.

Not true at all, Dr Elst. I can point out Tipu's premeditated genocide during his Malabar campaign, followed by intermittent massacres and atrocities (enumerated by V Gopalan Nair in his "The Moplah Rebellion, 1921) culminating in the Moplah rebellion genocide. All these were one sided without any retaliatory violence. And what would you call the genocide that followed the takeover of POK? Just two instances.

I don't understand why OIT vs AIT matters so much to Hinduism/Hindutva. If we claim Indo-Europeans migrated out from the sub-continent, is that supposed to legitimize a Hindu Rastra or Indians staying Hindu or something? Because if we do that, we're needlessly confining/condemning Hinduism to becoming an ethnic-religion (somewhat like Judaism). Instead, claim a non-ethnic, universal mandate (which is how it was, considering the expanse of Hinduism millennia ago spanned across the Indo-Aryans, the Dravidians & the South-East Asians, at the very least). This newfound ethno-centrism/ethno-obsession (which probably originated as some sort of colonial immune response) will only throw us further into irrelevance in a globalized world. We need more White/Black (Green, if possible) Hindus, in this day & age. This provincialist caste/ethnic pride is what got Hinduism marginalized to the extent it has been now. Look at North-East India, for instance. They (the Nagas, in particular) literally thank the Xian missionaries for civilizing them. And the mainstream media (from Indian outlets to National Geographic) have published glowing testimonials about their conversion from small, warring tribes of "headhunters" to a place of high literacy. Hindus have fallen behind in the oppression game already. We've been "out-oppressed" (if I may say so) by the world (the Isamics, now the West). The tide needs to be reversed. Abandon ethno-centrism. And if confronted with some "Aryan oppression" rhetoric, brazenly accept & legitimize it (like the West & Isam have) & proliferate your own interests. Cultural autonomy is an important part of strategic autonomy. You must seek to achieve it at all costs.

Hinduism is the only religion (In fact culture) which is not book-based religion, books come into existence by 5000 years ago through meditation (Vedas, etc). Hindus main aim is enlightenment, Liberation, freedom from birth and death. In the Gita, God guides Arjuna to enlightenment and righteousness (Dharma). Hindus are seekers, not believers ( like other religions). Hindus follow karma (good actions), Meditation, Yoga (union with the divine), self-knowledge (who am I), penance, chanting mantras, watching breath are primary to them and book/s are secondary to them. Hindus concept is the only god exists in everything and everywhere nothing else. Hindus say body and mind do not belong to you one day you have to leave them. Only your real self is you are find out that you ll be enlightened. Hindus say all living beings are divine. Actual Hinduism is Sanatana Dharma means an Eternal Religion.
