My bought my shark vacuum 4 years ago and it’s still amazing. I make sure to clean it out every time I use it and change the filter/foam piece inside. I’m amazed how much stuff it picks up. I LOVE my shark.

Growing up, my Mom used Murphy Oil Soap to clean our wood floors and cabinets. It doesn't take much; she just put 2-3 capfuls in a bucket of warm water. I still love the scent. And I love your videos! Thanks for being real!

We went from a Dyson to a Shark as well and love it! Originally we had fell for the whole wireless trap of the Dyson but the container was so small, attachments stopped working and the battery life was awful! Our Shark is super powerful and we love it so much more and it’s wired!

Oh my gosh! I have three kids three and under and I only have two drawers that are six inches each. I can’t fit a silverware organizer in either of them. Well Kim... The vacuum. I had a Dyson too. When working out of the house, I gave my teenager tasks. One was vacuuming. Short story long...he vacuumed up doggy poopoo. I came home and and found my vacuum in the garage. I now have a shark and love it. I think the suction is better than the Dyson!!

I’m way old school as far as vacuums go. I bought a Kirby Classic III with all the attachments back in 1976. Only things I’ve replaced on it are the light, 3x, the belt, 2x and the handle after my ex broke it off. It goes in every 3-5 years to have it oiled and checked. Heavy, you bet it is, expensive,yup, but my folks bought a new vacuum every 2-3 years paying anywhere from $100-$500 and would have to borrow the Kirby after about a year. Love my old gal but love watching Kim playing with her new vacuum cleaner.

A note on the car situation. I have 4 kids so needed a van to seat the masses. I got a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. I LOVE IT!!!! If you get the "limited" model it has a vacuum inside (speaking of new vacuums). Mine has the third seat in the middle row, you know cause kids and friends! Instead of getting rid of the black cabinet you can find the studs in the wall and actually attach it to the studs in the wall so it's less likely to tip over. I have to do that to a lot of my bigger furniture because I have kids that will most likely try to climb it. Good luck.

Love using a timer. We have a ten minute tidy up every night. I turn the timer on for 10 minutes and everybody cleans as much as they can in that 10 minutes. Most of the time it gets the house pretty darn clean before bed.

Thanks for the motivation! I did a ton of research and ended up buying the same car my neighbors have, and accidentally even the same color, which is hilariously embarassing. I got a Toyota Highlander XLE (2016) and I love it! It has 7 seats. Pretty much all of the safety features (rear camera, lane drift signal, brake assist) are in 2016 or newer models so a Toyota or a Honda can be a few years old and still be reliable for 10 years. I don't enjoy driving but have to a lot in this phase of life and it's so much more comfortable in this car. Sunroof, heated seat (I'm in MN) and a podcast on bluetooth feels like a luxe life. The gas mileage is terrible but everything else is awesome.

We were going to have people over before going to dinner and I was like why don't we all just meet at the restaurant lol. Because I don't even feeling like cleaning what can be seen. But, I do love Murphys oil soap to clean wood with. My son's birthday is on 12/16 so I can't even imagine having more than one birthday close to Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have a Buick Enclave and actually really like it. We got it from my mother, so it is an older model, but I love that it is essentially a Minivan. Fits 7, although the back seat is small for three at a time for longer car rides.

I absolutely love my Shark Navigator , after 6 years it still pulls me around and i have long hair pets and I have to empty it multiple times per vaccum, its amazing.. make sure you pull out the filters underneath the cannister and clean it in the sink every so often and it will keep its worth for years and years. ALSO I drive a Toyota Highlander with 3rd row seating and would 100% recommend it or Toyota Sequoia!

So they’re not brand new, but you do know that they have been maintained well and low mileage. So that’s how we live our life around here. When the Shark gets full dump it out and start again. If you let it sit in the canister you will loose pick up power. You can also clean the canister out from time to tme. Just let it dry over night and move it around so it can drain any water and it wont smell! Change the filters out and clean them and let them dry over night.

Theives cleaner is my favorite!!!! I am not into MLMs. But that product works so dang good. Best cleaning product ever. And I am a cheap person too. I got a sample and fell in love. I was out for a while and missed it soooooo much. It also doesn't need rinsed like other cleaners on counters and toys. Also had a baby squirt the diluted stuff directly in their face and survive. So that was a huge plus!!!! I was horrified but baby was completely fine. I kept thinking what if that was some chemical cleaning stuff. So good for the families to use.
