As a Splatoon player i can say that even if you dont like other shooters, give Splatoon a shot. I really dont enjoy the shooter genra as a whole, it just doesn't appeal to me. Meanwhile Splatoon 2 is my most played game on my switch, and Splatoon 3 is climbing up there. It is so different from other shooters that you cant really compare it to others.

Exactly, I'm not a shooter fan by any stretch but Splatoon is extremely fun

Looks like a blast! One of my favorite team based/class based shooters of all time has to be Team Fortress 2. A classic that has stood the test of time and that has outlived the game that tried to kill it TWICE lol Great video bud!
