I wish they never even had the Federation for 00 at all. Even so, I'd prefer it if Graham was apart of Kathron in order to *destroy* the Federation and restore the 3 blocs.

17:16 on top of being a war monger, he is also a mercenary. Ribbons most likely hired him because he was a powerful fighter and he does anything for money and satisfaction. Also, he did say that in his battle with Lockon, half of his body was burnt to a crisp. What if Ribbons Almark was the one who regenerated the other half of his body in exchange for his services?

13:27 Saji says that Celestial Being is to blame for what happened. He wants to live a normal life. He says that all CB does is kill people. However, his own actions to get away from CB gets several people killed, which along with a few tragic events, forces him to adopt CB's ideals. Given that a lot of CB's characters have a tragic past, having Saji join CB kind of makes sense.

I really enjoyed the dynamic of Gundam 00 S1 with the 3 Earth factions trying to figure out how to deal with Celestial Being. It presented the main characters in an interesting light with the mystery of Aeolia Schenberg and the question of what Celestial Being's true goal was. I don't know if it was intentional, but the characters from the 3 Earth factions were easy to identify with, and in some cases were more relatable than those from Celestial Being. In S2, Ribbons was the obvious "evil mastermind" and everything conveniently revolved around that plotline, which made the story a lot less interesting.

Mr. Bushido gets credit for Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 though. He's so freaking good and he breaks the 4th wall when you select him. (Which isn't as bad as it sounds since he's just a dlc character not a story character) Other than that the fact the Bushido arc exists keeps him firmly below the likes of Amuro and Schwartz in my favorite Gundam pilots list.

I am now convinced some guy at bandai HATES the character of graham aker so much they turned him from a regular RED BLOODED MILITARY MAN who cares about his country and comrades into a meme spouting xd le so random MR bushido guy like ... why not just write another character at that point .... he's essential a different person

@@roion6707 He doesn't do it all the time just when you select him. He's excited to finally be a "Dynasty Warrior Gundam!" Also he's arguably the best character in the game statwise which is cool. Aside from that he only has lines lamenting not piloting a Flag when he's in a non-Susanowo or Gundam suit and being excited to finally get to pilot a gundam when he pilots one and occasionally chastises the younger pilots for not being as skilled. It takes the Bushido characterization and turns it into a fun bonus character. I cannot speak to his characterization in later DW games where he isn't just a DLC pilot.

Oh yeah you might want to read the manga to bridge the gaps, there's a few 00 mangas like F, I, P and V I think ? There's nothing wrong with season 2, I watched it back when it first aired and rewatched it a few times in the past few years and it still holds up pretty well. If anything I thought season 1 was kinda boring and ALMOST dropped the show had it not been for a certain "split" personality that drew me in. Wang is pretty wasted I have to agree, she didn't really contribute to anything but the other characters make sense to me. Ali said he was a mercenary, he literally works for the highest bidder out there, or the one that can supply him with the most fighting opportunities and gadgets which is Ribbons in S2 so it fits with his alignment. The movie was rushed imo too, I think it should have been flushed out to something a bit longer and more detailed like a whole season, but everything else for the most parts work well with or off of each other, from season 1 to 2 and all the way through the movie. Regenne Regetta already hinted at the appearance of aliens near the beginning of season 2, and near the end of season 2 Setsuna mentioned it as well. The entire show is a premise about how society and people have to come together and work as a whole; S1 the world was fractured and scattered with wars, CB brought them together under the guise of needing to band together in order to fight them, S2 started with the world uniting though insurrection pockets are all over and the world is being stomped by an authoritarian gov. so CB needs to balance things out once more. Then the movie shows humanity finally all coming together willingly but they have a new alien threat to face, one they cannot interact or communicate with via conventional means so the true innovator has to represent humanity and intergrade with them just so that they won't kill off the human race. The whole thing "is" a bit idealistic and progresses too fast compared to reality, but it's intentions and it's cautionary tales are in the right place.

00 Season 1 is a masterpiece. 00 2nd Season is just generic mecha action. :/ Graham "Bushido" Aker cool Nickname. Fits perfect to his Season 1 Character. But in Season 2 oh boy.. And I am not a fan of the Season 2 Mobile Suits. Only the Susanowo, Seravee + Seraphim and Reborns Gundam are pretty nice. I am happy they fix the shitty designs of season 2 in the Movie. Gundam Harute and Zabanya are fcking amazing.

I tried watching Gundam Wing and Seed but just got through like 5 episodes and stopped watching. Finally, I tried 00 and had no real problem getting season 1, I was even a bit excited about watching the episodes. Then season 2 came along and since I had come for the third op (it’s made by one of my favourite bands) I just dropped it without realizing. When the A-Laws made their appearance and the female Tieria appeared I was like “this is dumb and too much for me” and whenever I tried to pick it up again I couldn’t even make it past the op. I also could not stand Lyle.
