Partly Pinkie, I didn't know who you were before clicking on this, but now I don't think I will ever forget you. Before I even talk about this video, I want to say that you are so clever, insightful, and genuinely funny that every second of this long video was a delight. I never usually watch long video essays, but this was so well made I barely noticed how long it was. Not a boring moment. You really have a talent for this. Now for me to say THANK YOU SO MUCH. I feel so SEEN, so HEARD, so UNDERSTOOD right now. You perfectly got everything I was ever going for in my story, and to hear you in such detail enthuse over my films has warmed my heart more than you'll ever know. The research you did, the way you looked beyond even the videos themselves, the way you put all the little clues together is something so special. I know how much work it is to make a video like this, and it just makes me appreciate all your effort even more. You really and truly understand my story, and it's almost bringing me to happy tears to have seen something so thoughtful talking about something little old me did. Sadly, I'm typing on my phone right now, so it's hard to get everything I want to say down. When the power comes back to my house, I will be back on here, watching this video all over again with a billion happy notes with timestamps. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this. I will remember it forever

OH MY DOG THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Making this video was a huge passion project for me, but I kept at it day by day because your remake of this series means SO much to me. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched over your work, learned something new about your characters, and felt the need to just watch everything over again. You are a master at storytelling, Fever. It was moments like that that really cemented to me that I wanted this video to happen. People need to know your characters! I have so much fun talking about them, along with my boyfriend, who also enjoys the series. You truly have something special here! The sheer amount of dedication is something that keeps me in awe. It tells me that LPS Popular Remake isn’t just a remake. It stands on it’s own as being my, and many other’s personal favorite LPS series of all time. Thank you so, so much for your kind words. It really means the entire world that you’ve not only seen this video, but also enjoyed it. I eagerly look forward to your notes. I’d love to know EVERYTHING!!

Fun fact: the reason they use a different model for Sage in the remake was because the old model was ridiculously expensive

I love the original, but i do think the remake wrote savannah better. In the original savannah is kind of a "can do no wrong character" and has an outstanding lack of character flaws. The only consequences she gets are because of misunderstandings and usually the fault of other characters instead of being deserved consequences for her own decicions. She's always played off as either the hero or the victim.

The part when Sage called Savvy a biotch is actually so funny because the word “bitch” means “female dog” and Savvy is a female dog…

Honestly one of the reasons I really want lps popular to continue is to see an expansion of josh and lana, like.. they randomly come in, there’s this mysterious aura around them and as everyone knows, there hasn’t been an episode in years and it literally makes me claw at my skin how much potential their characters have and how much their characters feel like cliff hangers!!! i guess this can be said about the series as a whole but i really feel like it applies to those two specifically a lot more 😭😭 i feel like im the only one who feels this way given how i haven’t seen anyone else have any curiosities abt them but oh well lol

I feel like one of the other reasons remake Tom jumped to the idea of marriage so quickly is because he believed savannah was more conservative (from the scene where she was jealous of brooke and briac staying together). Shortly after he overheard Savy and Jenny’s conversation where she (out of denial) repeated that she loves Tom. So probably to him, he thought that Savannah was reluctant to be more intimate/vulnerable is bc of her “conservative nature”, and believing that marriage would help that.

I adore both versions equally and it's nice to have a video FINALLY discussing the similarities and differences of each show as well as its characters and how the creators presented them! This was a great analysis and I can't wait for the third season of the remake!💕💗💕

This video needs more attention. I love how funny, informative and well pasted the whole video is. The visuals and sound effects are just so hilarious. Yesterday I rewatched the whole lps remake movies and god knows how much I wanted this type of essay video talking about how great the characters are. You did justice for both iconic series.

Honestly my theory as to why Rachel and Alicia dumped Brook all of a sudden is the same as the original: they were horrified that Brooke was willing to do something so bad to Savannah, hence why they dumped her. But also because Savannah was the new popular girl so yeah... (⁠・⁠∀⁠・⁠)

Oh my gosh yay I am so glad that there is a video comparing these two series! I love them both and I think the remake is so interesting in that basically one thing changes about the premise and spirals into a completely different story. Great character analysis! I love Alicia so much. Also I never caught on that Briac is Briggette I feel very not smart 😂

This is so extremely underrated and well made! I recently discovered both series and immediately became obsessed with them, and your analysis really helped me understand the characters better and develop a much better understanding about what really resonated with me regarding these series. FELLOW LPSP REMAKE ENJOYER!! THIS VIDEO IS SO GOOD. I have already talked in detail in the remakes comments but you’ve hit a ton of the same points I’ve thought of/talked about too. I’m telling you, this got me hyped for the eventual S3 all over again, and I’ve been waiting for S3 excitedly since the last episode of S2 premiered. Great work!
