@@souadelamraoui2813 You are just convincing yourself about something which isn't. Let us all believe that religion(s) in it's purest form were free of ALL evil. But they got into the hands of mankind. And humans very early realized that "religion" is a power of ruling and gaining power over other humans. Look at Jesus. He NEVER said that he is a Christian. And it took his followers(Apostels) about 100 years to write the "New Testament" which actually are stories about Jesus. WHY? Because the Apostels realized the marketing power of religion . Until then The Old Testament (Torakh) in it's Greek & Aramaic translations did the job. And Jesus ONLY had the Torakh as a prayer book. Soooo...suddenly after 100 years of his death we have the "Holy Bible" consisting of an old prayer book and a new book written and "added" by his followers. I wrote all of this to let people think about of WHAT they do believe in. Which leads us to the question: WHAT IS RELIGION?

Add them to the people who use it as a crutch, or a justification for their own egocentric actions, and it's a substantial deficit to the actively religious population - the majority of whom ARE sincere, well meaning, genuinely devout.

@rejaneflorinda61622 жыл бұрын
Theatre and circus are sorts of artistic expressions where you enter knowing precisely what is going to happen: someone is going to lie to you, pretend they are someone they are not and use every bit of artificial tricks and illusions to make you feel a certain way and believe in certain things. When you get out, you will feel a lot of things, but you cannot say you were lied to. Churches, on the other hand, say they will tell you the truth, that what you will hear and see are designed according to a specific deity holding that truth and choosing certain people to say to you what is right and what is wrong. You will go in thinking something is missing in your life and that something you will find there. You can be lied to, led to believe in people who are only trying to get your money or your alliance, and in the end, you can feel betrayed if the reality is uncovered. You tell me why you think a church equals theatre and circus because, in my opinion, they have nothing to do with one another.

Comes across like a real unsympathetic character. And he's probably guilty. BUT: this case is very thin. There seems to be no technical/physical evidence. The police were lucky to get this conviction through.

The only person we need to give our undying worship to is Jesus Christ. The Bible says to try the spirits to see if they are of God. We need to beware of wolves in sheep's clothing.

Clergy are just people like the rest of us. That means that they will do things that are wrong, sometimes egregiously so. There are clergy of all faiths who do good work that is not always appreciated.
