How do you program without using programmer?

I just bought and installed a Hobbywing XR8 pro. We have gone through calibration of neutral, throttle and brake. Once that’s done the ESC blinks green 4 times then starts blinking red. Batteries are fully charged. I do not have a programmer. What am I doing wrong?

VERY informative and thoughtful! Cant wait to see tuning the timing and turbo as I have never used nor had a brushless setup and even on brushed I never messed with timing... I’m seriously looking at the Xr8 pro esc with a 3660 g2 3200kv motor for bashing and occasional racing with a 4x4 sct (Tekno 410.3 sct)... any tips would be helpful and great as it will be my first sct and race rig

could you please let me know if the xr10 pro g2 can use lihv batteries?? i know i can charge them at normal voltages but will it accept 7.6v? i cant find much info on this... thank you!

Can be set to your desired voltage in .1 v steps.

I have this combo coming soon and as someone who has never soldered this gives me confidence to do all of this. Question I will also use male XT90 to connect to LIPO's female XT90 but how do I connect the female XT90 on LIPO to the charger that has a smaller female XT60 port? Advice would be really appreciated.

Hi, how do you reset the data logging? Moved esc to another car with other motor, old values are not usefull anymore. And would be nice as monitoring after each run. Thx!!

Sooooo, i hate soldering had a F'n hard time, my ESC got warm cuz i left it on to long,was afraid to turn it on,i SAID f it plugged a battery in,it turned on,it's ok,right? (The esc)
