I love re-watching the old vlogs. Despite all the things that needed doing, the people and volunteers from across the world were the real art of the chateau. I love it now and have loved seeing all the progress too. Watching back the old videos, you really are reminded of how it was possible. The good, healthy soil of community was there from the start.

Kelliemarie16, me too. I started following Stephanie from the beginning, so these older vlogs are nostalgic. Chateau Diaries was my fantasy world during cancer and chemo. Funny how such a traumatic experience has so many fond memories attached to it. 😊

The iris are lovely. The ivy is best taken care of by cutting at the base, or as close as you can, then wait until you see it dying and pull off, then you can fix the mortar.

It is very hard to work and film at the same time, a part from this Stephanie never stop, it is a big place to organise, and she does this beautifully, plus volontaire are not always there!
