I adore Honfleur truly a gorgeous town. So much history and the most gorgeous houses. We try to visit every year and stay in Trouville-Sur-Mer we adore the stunning mansions built right to the edge of the sand on the stunning beach. Built in the 1800's for the wealthy Parisians who kept them as holiday homes. The amazing seafood market where you can watch the fishing trawlers come right to the docks behind the market. You can then buy fresh seafood and eat it on the spot. Then you can just walk across the bridge to Vieux Deauville a stunning small seaside town with an American film festival, horse races and the most stunning boardwalk and beach boxes. A very famous half timbered hotel and eye popping elegant belle epoque villas. All a very long way from Australia.

I have been to Paris. Thanks for the trip driving through picturesque towns to the chateau in Honfleur with minimal decor, unlike La lande; the port, the antique stores, the churches with nativity scenes unlike any I've seen before and lastly the bust of Samuel De Champlain and the history lesson. I live in NY and in 1972 first visited Quebec, La belle Province of Canada. It is the most European of any city in North America; I visited often as my Dad and step-mother lived and are laid to rest in Montreal, Quebec. Your channel is on another level, compared to other chateau. The art, culture and history lessons are excellent and much appreciated.

I love the churches and nativity set ups with so many natural elements. Philip, you are such a gentleman buying the bright yellow gloves to match Stephanie's fuzzy scarf. How fun it is to go along on your adventures.

Oh I thoroughly enjoyed that on a rain soaked summer day here in Australia as I’m curled up in my chair watching with my puppy beside me, Choc chip banana cake in oven and I’ve just made peach jam. Feels more like winter today but I’m thoroughly enjoying it.

I enjoyed this video so very much! The churches and the paintings. Everything! The shop you went into with the animals. Thank you! 💖 When I went to Europe, we tried to see things like these. The Louvre I didn't want to leave! Marie always does a fantastic job! You all make me so happy. Your videos bring so much joy to so many people. You are a true blessing. I can't say thank you enough for all you do. 💖

What a beautiful place Honfleur is! The craftsmanship in making the wooden church is simply incredible and the crèche was so beautiful! Philip is such a gentleman buying Stephanie those lovely warm, matching gloves! But what horrible weather! Marie’s flowers were stunning as is Anna and Philipe’s Chateaux! Glad you had such a lovely break!

The wooden church is absolutely astoundingly beautiful! The work involed in building a structure like that at the time must have been monumental. And they must have done a superb job, because it's still standing strong. Wow thank you for showing us :)
