What is the difference between a liberty safe from you or a big box store they are both liberty safes

Typically there’s not, but it’s dependent. Sometimes they simply put a different name on it, but there are cases where the steel might be thinner, the lock might be a lesser one or there’s less bolts. However, many times you can tell quickly checking/comparing those things.

Mucho gracias, we appreciate you watching. Yes, the shelves are removable. I tell everyone it has a 18 gun rating in the brochure. Well, you can see I have 3 guns on one side and room for maybe twice that, maybe more. However, optics are what make the difference. Tell me how many you want to put up and how many have optics, I can usually tell you from that if it’ll work.

@@A1LocksmithofTexas i can have 6-7 BOLT ACTION rifles with scopes plus an AR, depending on what I bring back and forth from our other property. Right now, they are in soft cases leaning against the wall or a couple in hard cases….

The steel is precut in the back, yes. Lately we’ve noticed the carpet & Sheetrock has been scored, so you can easily install a plug. Our number one selling accessory is the Deluxe Bundle Kit - LED lights, 12” dehumidifier & deluxe outlet kit for $160. Ideal for safes without those items, you save money with bundle versus buying all 3 accessories separately.

Thank you, we appreciate you watching. Loaded question. It comes down to what’s the best 12 gun safe based on YOUR criteria. We’re talking about 3 Qty “airsofts”, but with glass on each? Do you wanna store accessories like ammo and such, too? What about any boxes/cases? Papers & documents? What’s more important to you after : American made, fire protection, thickness of steel, simply lock them up because of children or maybe you’re thinking of a budget which is most important to you. So much goes into that question, but that’s where we come in to help.

Like on this model, I would like a place to store a few magazines and a couple passports....nothing too large. I have older children that have moved out so that's not an issues for me. I would like your recommendation on a great quality safe for a first time buyer. Thanks!!!

@@CesarVillanueva-j9u That helps, gracias. Centurion 12 is the best American made 10-12 gun box for what you mentioned, I might add a Cool Pocket for those passports to add fire protection. After that I’m impressed with the Browning ProSteel BX-10 , it’s made in Asia, but it offers 45 minutes of fire rating. If you wanted a lot of protection from fire and burglar in a similar size I would say AMSEC CFX 5924, but it’s magnificently more protection. Haha

I am sure their is NOTHING wrong with those brands but your guidance has made me look on there brands! I will do some research on the ProSteel vs Centurion. @@ChrisHVACguy Floor, comes with 4 predrilled holes in the floor for anchoring. Essentially holes in the sides/back would defeat fire rating/protection because heat rises.

@@usaalways1869 Thanks for reaching out. As a locksmith company it’s been our experience they’re not great. We’re called to open them after they fail too often. To be fair I haven’t heard nearly as many negative customer reviews on those small 1-2 gun Sentry safes. For the price I think you can get a solid Liberty or Browning , both have UL listed locks (always a better option).
