Ive seen some people switch these electric dials to mechanical dials!!!! Don't know if all safes can be switched.

the newer safes have SecuRam keypads on them. Much less likely to fail. but that is still inexcusable customer service

Weird. I’ve own a Winchester safe now going on 12year. I bought it from Costco. No issues with it aside from having to change the 9v for the keypad every 3 years or so. I don’t agree with the statement when you say they have known keypad issues simply drawing from their automated help response about replacing the battery. It’s just such a thing that people always seem to overlook. It’s kind of a big jump from A to B and it doesn’t really connect the problem. Appreciate the feedback you’re sharing about their lacking of customer support though

If you pack them in like Tetris probably15-18 comfortably they are counting hand guns I believe

It'll only hold about 1/3 of its advertised guns if your tactical rifles all have optics, lights, slings, or bipods attached. Plus, about a dozen handguns or so

Not made by Tractor Supply. The very first sentence (of the manual that you showed) states safe made by “Granite Security Products” 😂. C’mon man, read the manual! Btw, Winchester safes have upgraded their keypads and have backup keys now. 👍🏼

Of course but thats not the point I paid for a safe that works but also in an emergency it takes much longer to open with the key. If you sell a product with a warranty then stand behind it 100%

Sucks to hear about such terrible service. It's all about just taking your hard earned money. Not that it's any consolation now, but I have never liked digital devices of any kind. My safes have the mechanical dials. A lot less likely to fail.

If your in the market and looking for sub 1k, look at the Rhino Kodiak line. I just got one that's exactly the same size as this, for 500, and it has a decent ul listed lock, the safex system that locks to the body all the way around the door, has a spring relocker and anti drill plate, and is overall 10x the safe for less money.

Dude, don't rag on the safe itself. It's a great safe for the price. I shitcanned the digital locks on my three safes (Winchester, Big Horn, and Cannon) and installed the appropriate S&G dial. *NEVER* had a problem.

He has every right to bash this pos. Not only does the safe itself suck, the tiny 1/2 size Chinese "lock" prevents you from even having the option of installing a real quality safe lock. Old Winchester safes were ok but these modern big box store versions are straight TRASH.
