Probably the most knowledgeable guy that has success at the track that’s doing true budget fox body builds is 50 tussin out of Florida.. check his stuff out .. hope this helps , good luck

need to go with an 8.8, those factory control arms and bushings need to go, go soild/spherical bushings and decent control arms at minimum.

and you will need to source a tubular k member for the ls swap

I’m on the hunt for an 8.8 now, just trying to find one with decent gears. As far as the k member I might build custom motor mounts to keep the price down.

@@DeRosaDriven if you can make that work, I just personally haven’t seen an ls fit with a stock k member in a fox, don’t know if you will be able to get the crank centerline down low enough. But hell, I’ll watch the channel and see how it goes. I’m building an extremely low budget track car myself, but sticking with a ford power plant lol

@@CoreysGarage12 watch the 10k drag shootout, it’s one of my favorite shows on KZbin. There’s a car they built called beer money. They use the factory k member but the did also go with a motor plate, I’ll try and see what happens lol what are you building?

@@DeRosaDriven I’ll check that out. I’m building a 93 lx foxbody and putting a 351w in it with a c4 or power glide. I have the motor already, just needs to go to the machine shop, and I have a 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears but that’s all I’ve accumulated so far. It’s basically just a shell on jackstands right now lol I did replace a rusted out floor pan and put thru-the-floor subframe connectors in it too
