I encounter CVs practically every tier 7 game I play, and neither I nor my div mates play CVs. I cannot stand everything about CVs. They are a cancer on this game and need to be removed. I know you agree with my stance. I just could not believe that you think tier 7 is not infested with them. :)

I’m a big fan of the super cruisers so I’m looking forward to grinding this line even if the ships might end up being mediocre.

Cruisers are my jam, but I don't think this is a line I'll rush to grind through. That said, I've been caught a couple of times by Cherbourg captains who are likely using the speed boost concealment. I'll be focused on something ahead of me and all of a sudden a chunk has been taken out of my side. A few seconds later they're gone again. Rinse and repeat.

Brest on PC is tier IX not VIII Xarkun.

I run AL Dunkerque (The BB commander) on her and play her as a Battlecruiser, it work reasonably well.

Does all perks work on it? Cause it wrote that some perks works only work with battleships

Well....all that cruiser need is a couple of shima torps attached on each side of the ship.😊

All these battle cruisers. Including Carnot need either a couple seconds off the reload, or a simga buff. Carnot should get MBRB and AP damage buff.

Carnot especially could use a buff. This one I think is fine even if it’s mediocre. Tech tree ships shouldn’t all be super strong and crazy. Mediocre is fine. But I don’t exactly know how Brest will perform til it’s released, so I’ll be curious to see. This thing is very much the same was it was on WoWs PC, where it’s also not very good. But the Brest was quite good. So hopefully the same holds for Legends.

@@Xarkun Mediocre is fine, I agree. However with the smaller maps in Legends this style of ship can't aford to be SO inconsistent. They get slapped around very quickly and with massive reloads aren't much fun. Which is the whole point.

There's no way this ship line escapes a ROF buff in the very near future. The guns on Toulon are WAY to inconsistent for how slow she shoots. I've got ships with more, larger guns that reload faster and are more consistent

When I played wows I enjoyed the Toulon....not a fan of this ship...its not real consistent...but the speed turning and concealment make it different....this will appeal to someone for sure..

I dunno, I don't expect to be a big fan of these new French super cruisers. I'll definitely have to try them out before making up my mind though.

Wow, 25% slower reload then any other 305mm cruiser like an Azuma or Congress at the same tier and with worse armor - Talk about a nerf! What does WG have against the French? Sounds like a hard pass to me.. Especially if it doesn't have torpedoes as it is food for DD's or light cruisers with no way to defend itself from a rush or knife fight..

The armor isn’t necessarily bad, it’s actually very similar to Siegfried. The reload could use a slight buff but I would suspect the reason it’s slower then Azuma and Congress is because Cherbourg has a reload booster.

Seems like these guns are rather "Brandenburg-esque". That is to say, rather meh. Not holding my breath.
