We need these type of songs, music hasn't been the same in years. No heart and soul in it anymore. Just words that are repeated and promote nothing I want to listen to. This brings back all the days that we didn't realize how good the music and life were at the time. ☮🎶💙

You know, in 40 - 50 years today's kids will be saying the same thing in regard to "their" music. Two things that you can't argue about are somebody's love for music and somebody's love for fashion. There is no way to prove them wrong and convince them. You're better off trying to appreciate what it is or just keeping quiet.

Not only was Chi-Lites lead singer Eugene Record an outstanding vocalist, but (unlike most vocal groups) he wrote and produced their hits, including this 1972 US Billboard #1 single. As well as "Have You Seen Her" and "Stoned Out of My Mind." And he really had a knack for writing and producing exquisite tearjerkers ("The Coldest Days Of My Life," "A Letter To Myself"). Few people know his name but he was an extraordinary talent (he died in 2005). I always knew "Oh Girl" would stand the test of time. It's an absolute classic. (Also, The Chi-Lites are from Chicago, they are not a Motown group)

That was beautiful to see the whole crowd coupled up and slow dancing like that. Nowadays, you go to a show or club and men and women hardly even interact anymore on the dancefloor (unless they came with their partner) the 70's truly was the Love Era... I wish I was born back then :\

Esta musica ja fez muita gente chorar, muitos casarem, mas ainda apaixona muita gente, quem gosta da verdadeira cançâo.
