When Medium came on today, playing this lovely song, I knew which episode it was and that I'd hear the song throughout!!! One of my favorites!!! I miss their harmonies!!!
I remember this song on Medium. It means so much to me after I lost my partner of 13 years, then met someone else who I'm now married to and have stepdaughters and a granddaughter. Life really is such a fickle thing and you don't know what's meant for you. Make every day count

Wow, truer words have never been spoken - you speak with a lot of wisdom. I’m 60 yrs old and yes, you’ve spoken the truth here about life. Really, nothing in life is guaranteed, nothing is promised, nothing is a sure thing. A life can be drastically changed in the literal blink of an eye ..... so we have to live in gratitude and be present in every single moment of our every day lives ..💞

This album came out when I first found out I was pregnant with my oldest who’s now coming up on 14. I played it over and over for him on naptime drives and many a long night. My youngest has just turned 6 months old and I’ve found my way back to this treasured lullaby which still brings a tear to my eye every time. Such a gift to tired mamas who know all too well that the days are long but the years are short. Thank you!

❤️I just love this song. I first heard it on a type Women of Song CD. It was on the very long drive across Canada for my Mother’s funeral. The lyrics really resonated with me. This song is playing on my Dogs’ collective memorial video. This song soothes me and makes me cry at the same time. ❤️ Thank you ‘The Chicks’ ❤️❤️❤️ for such a beautiful piece of music. Makes me think,of my Mother rocking me to sleep. She was a very good Singer, and she’d sing me lullabies. Daddy’s Little Girl always make me weepy. My Dad also was a Singer and Piano Player in his younger years. Both of my Parents were Singers and loved music. As a parlour joke, if my Parents had company, they’d sing Daddy’s Little Girl in front of their friends so they could get a little chuckle out of how a song could make a 3 year old cry. I was born in the wrong era. It would maybe have been a viral video today, lol.

This song was a lullaby for my niece, my singing it, or hearing it comforts her now through too much pain. When happy my now 5 yr old niece puts on her most beautiful gown & such, & plays it over & over dancing to it. This is my 2nd DC Lullaby I've used, both remain so special to the child, & an anchor when life is hard. They remain embedded w/in some of my most precious memories, & for that I am incredibly grateful! The deeper message that remains w/in their minds means the world to me. Thanks!
