A little detail that stood out to me: Alex mentioned that in the weird message signed by Steev Mike where he threatens to expose Andrew the word 'You' is spelled with a 'Z' and on the German keyboard layout the Z and Y keys are switched compared to the English/International layout. Makes me wonder if the person who posted this message was either German but typing on an English keyboard or was used to the English layout but typing on a German keyboard

I went down this rabbit hole last year when the new Andrew WK album came out. The music is really good, a combo of sad lyrics and partying responsibly. I remembered the rumors about him not being the same person as before so I searched for interviews and videos of him public speaking...and I don't know what to tell you guys, he sounds so normal in those videos. He explains all the misunderstandings about "Andrew WK" being just a persona. He openly talks about his mental issues and all, so I came out of the rabbit hole pretty sure that he has always been the same human being just different way of life, more healthy and such. I'm gonna listen to part 2 cause I love you boys but I don't think there's much to this story. Although I secretly wish Alex will tell us Andrew is an alien or something lmao

AWK has been talking about dealing with depression for years. It's possible he could be dissociative and his alters were/are angry with how they were sharing time. Wow I had totally forgotten about this Steev Mike thing. I remember reading it back when those posts first appeared. Thanks for reminding me guys lol. I saw Andrew wk live twice in 2011. He's actually something of a motivational speaker nowadays and people write him for life advice. I know it sounds hilarious lol but it's true. I wouldn't be shocked if he has a connection to ancient aliens.

The weird rants in this remind me a lot of the user Yayvideogames on Reddit, who used to post the most batshit crazy stuff but with a little digging people eventually found out that it all linked back to several other accounts and a guy who was abusing his medications (I guess he had severe chronic pain) and suffered from some occasional crazed psychological episodes. Edit: Also I think this is my favorite Alex episode so far, this is pretty intriguing. :) It was hard to top the Beatles one, but this is pretty great!

A lot of this feels really similar to an ARG, something like the Wyoming Incident or the Ben Drowned side thing. It has a lot of the same structure, spread out over a ton of websites, purposefully really metaphor laden and ambiguous statements that hint at a bigger mystery, no solid information, numerical codes for alphabets that are designed to be broken, statements from a mystery antagonist figure by hacking/possession, etc. It seems like a kinda fun project for hype. Also, the "I am not the same person" statement seems purposefully so super ambiguous. Like, he says stuff like "maybe you aren't the same person as when you first heard those songs" and linking freedom to joy and all that which makes absolutely 0 sense in the context of him being a literal different person...but then repeatedly says he means it literally. It really does seem like he's trying to build on a artsy project or game as a mystery for people. Looking forward to the next bit, since Alex seems to have assumed we'd all think this is wrapped up then surprise us with the crazy shit.

Andrew W.K. is a joke that people fail to get. He's playing the persona of a metalhead who dresses like a janitor who just wants to party and have a good time. It's a persona. Andre w.k. isn't really a metalhead/janitor but a musician with a background in piano playing. That's why hears the same clothes at every show. It's not a conspiracy.
