The two provinces pronounce totally different in many other Chinese dialect though. China needs to protect other dialects which actually have more cultural depth than the Mandarin.

Having experienced the Thai language for a couple of years, which is also tonal, I could hear the difference between the names of the two provinces. With a few minutes practice I think I could get them right.

Why on earth would anyone think a "Mandarin tutor" is more qualified than any native Mandarin speaker to judge the guy's pronunciation?

Another thing that the US doesn't want you to know about China is that its average life expectancy is now a year more than the US's. It's 77.1 versus 76.1. This is what happens when we let the food manufacturers feed us. That means that I'm living on borrowed time now. The US is no longer number one in many things, and the statistics are getting worse.

Jason I like how your video always show the positive side of China, most of the western media always focus on the negative side of China, I admit that China has a lot of problems, they need to be addressed too. But to be honest China is growing fast and has a lot to offer nowadays, it's so much different than it use to be 30 years ago, you are showing the world what China really looks like today.

@@willengel2458 Angel Falls in Venezuela looks spectacular in photos. China has many famous waterfalls, e.g. Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou Province, Detian Waterfall in Guangxi Province at the Vietnam border. (If one fly to Hawaii's smaller islands from Honolulu on a Cessna airplane there are literally hundreds of waterfalls along cliff faces of the islands, very pretty. Also walk up to the Niagara Falls' edge on the Canadian side before sunrise when there are practically nobody around, it's like the thundering waterfall returns to an earlier primordial time - no tourist. Very few people have such experiences.)

That is ok, they left UK already (reunited with family) and are now visiting South Africa, they even showed that South Africa uses Huawei technology for their solar tech. And in their videos, they still use Chinese subtitles for their Chinese audience. I think it's nice that they are showing their Chineses audience other parts of the world. Keep an open mind.
