Cannot out a straight person regardless of the space they’re in. There’s no place on earth that they would have to conceal the fact they’re straight to be safe. I think it's because a lot of people have been outed such as myself, and a lot of gay people are forced to develop super thick skin very young, so I absolutely believe it's because a lot of us just don't see it as a big deal. I completely agree with his take, that we shouldn't do to others what they've done to us. It's not right. But that's not what this is to a lot of people. I'd compare it to white face. It doesn't exist. Outing as straight? Also, Maddy is in a safe space, many of us were not in a safe space when we were outed. What I don't appreciate is Fenton Bailey USING Maddy, and stringing the Goldstar storyline together to put the pressure on Maddy, to make him feel how we feel. That bothers me. @@RavanaMuse I can understand and respect that POV. However i do feel that the parallels between the Maddy situation and people being outed are too important to ignore. For me it's about that feeling of complete embarrassment, feeling isolated and taking away from Maddy's story. MAddy should have had a bigger opportunity to discuss what drag is to them. I think Jasmine could benefit with more makeup to balance her masculine face. In opposition, Angeria draws her eyebrows very high, even though she has a naturally feminine looking face. That’s where the uncanniness comes from: she looks like a cartoon without being clearly a man with a lot of makeup. It’s this in-betweenness, this hard to pinpoint something, that makes her look weird. Loved your analysis of the pushed straight story. Love the quality content ur putting out every time. All these episodes are whole productions and I thoroughly enjoy them. Quite funny as well, your sassy opinions 😊. Wish you all the best with your mouse, you seem like a genuinely sweet person.

I think her lashes being so dramatic drew an illusion that her eyes were far apart, too.
@TopRPDRvideos2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for explaining it. Now that I noticed that, in the entrance she didn't really draw them that much high or maybe the highlight under them made them look more natural, that's why it's something I had only for the main stage makeup. Also I'm really glad you enjoy the episodes, it's a ton of work in a short time and sometimes the edit is less than favorable. Fingers crossed for today.

oh myy goood yes when I saw the episode I had to go back at the gold or golden star or whatever star moment and see it again and then I was saying out loud " that was soo staged " and to be honest I did not expect drag race to be able to handle this issue better and I do not think any of us expected drag race to be mature about it PS I am sorry for your pet I hope things to get better

True acceptance is not good material to create drama and shock value and sadly those two are exactly what the show is based on. I don't understand why the second premier (which is made to let all contestants shine) is fully focussed on 1 person's sexual identity...

Thank you for uploading this despite what's going on in your personal life. I'm really sorry to hear about your mouse. I believe that pets are a part of the family and mice are way more intelligent than we give them credit for and can develop deep emotional bonds with their humans. While I hope that she's doing well, I know you give her the best possible life with lots of love and I like to believe that she knows that and reciprocates that love. Please don't feel pressured into making content if you're not feeling up to it but, regardless, I hope you're doing ok❤️

i can't understand why RuPaul wouldn't Maddy tell the other queens on her own time lmfao (i don't like the language of "outing" bc Maddy's a cishet, i don't think it's a wholly accurate term even though it may or may not have led to a similar feeling of fear and unease). like Daya already knew Maddy was cishet, it was gonna come up eventually. and Ru's never outed the trans contestants without their consent, so this was bizarre. like, did Ru think Maddy wasn't gonna survive the first ep so he had to rush the drama? i'm so confused. it was always clear to me with the marketing around Maddy and everything that they might have cast her solely for tokenism or the sake of "breaking boundaries." hell, it feels like that with every "first time" casting. first trans man (Gottmik), first cis woman (Victoria Scone), etc. fucked up. also didn't Disasterina say she was heteroflexible? at the very least not turned off by the idea of being with a man lol. i could be misremembering. and yes gender =/= sexual orientation, but in general i'm not a fan of the language "identifying as" because that implies that it's not reality, if that makes sense. your sexual orientation is tied to your identity along with your gender, but saying "oh, you identify as ___" implies that you don't necessarily see that person as their gender/sexuality.

I've been (allegedly) speaking Spanish and German for 30+ years and I wouldn't DREAM of trying to keep up with a native speaker. I'm not even good enough to keep up with a native speaking child. The idioms alone would be impossible. So much is easily lost in translation. 🖤

She got surgery 3 days later after this video was published. The tumor was completely removed and after 2 months of struggle, she's more or less back to normal. At this point the hate for Maddy in drag race meme videos is insane. Just because you hate straight people, or straight people in general sucks, doesn't mean that Maddy deserves it. I don't understand why is it so hard to be kind to a great ally who genuinely loves drag?

For angies make up. It’s the nose. You don’t need to be an expert to realize it. She highlights and cuts it in a way that it stands out but at the same time it doesn’t it. That’s what happens.
