This is the best show EVER, n i think God definitely has His hand in it, because this show is now viewed WORLDWIDE, n 66 or more languages, n is turning people to, n back to, Jesus, by the millions, n its such a beautiful thing to see, n in that is turning people to reading their bibles, to see whats historical n whats fan fiction, basically, with a new understanding of the scripture n new n deepened relationship to those scriptures n God n Jesus!!! I myself am one of them. Since finding n falling in love with this show, which i did very 1st episode, lol, i also bought a bible n started reading n understanding n relating to the gospels n old testament prophesies n other scripture quoted in the show, n studying these things... the bible says the gospel will be shared in every part of the world, n so it is.

ps I agree with you that this series is going to really reveal Jesus in this grief that his followers are not getting him.. they re not understanding hiim and even betraying him..... aloneness with God his Father... will save him as we know. I am a fan of the show. There is only one real area I feel they took too much liberty and presented something that contradicts Jesus' actual position on a specific topic. But as a show that is not the Bible, I don't see it as an issue worth throwing out the bath water on. There are a LARGE number of Christians who believe what they presented, but it's just not the truth. There are a lot of doctrines in the faith that don't align with Jesus, who He is, and what He did.
