I have watched the scene with the bleeding woman and Samaritan woman so many times; to me these two scenes what makes Jesus a friend, companion, brother, God, defender, protector, empathizer, Strong Tower of suport and kindness, Savior, wonderful Counselor, a Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace; so many comforting words of hope.

This series has helped me also in so many ways. I was in a deep dark hole and wasn’t sure I was gonna last long. I was in physical and emotional pain. But watching the series taught me to lean upon God. My strength today is because of God. But for the grace of God, I am here. God bless everyone that has participated in making this series ! I would tell him it is a blessing to meet him and that he is the most humble, amazing at artform, including not just his insane amazing acting, but his awesome illistrations, his badass drumming,his dead on impressions, accents, dialects,his profound, eloquant, moving, inspirational speeches and last but never least, his love for God and our Lord Jesus Christ!!!!!! Thank you for posting. I can imagine the Apostles felt devastated by what Jesus went through when they entered Jerusalem and what Jesus went through on the cross. The good news is: When Jesus rose, their lives were changed. When Holy Spirit fell, they were totally transformed. Yielding to the governance of God and completely surrendering to His governance is how we experience His peace which goes beyond human understanding. Hallelujah!

I love the Chosen series, I really do. They do a great job with the events described in scripture and from what I have read stay very close to those events. Please remember that much of the character development is creative license. No evidence that Matthew was autistic, or little James was crippled by a birth defect but it is compelling and could show marginalized folks as welcome into the Kingdom of God just like anyone else. I was born with a birth defect so please don't throw shade. So please remember to refer to the scriptures for accurate depiction of events and the events surrounding them. That being said I believe this series is opening the eyes of so many that would otherwise have no clue about Jesus and biblical history. Christ is coming soon so the more people can recognize the signs the better we can prepare to await his arrival and help lead others into the family of believers as he wanted in the great commission. I pray you all find Jesus, make him lord of your life so that we may spend eternity with him in peace... Shalom Shalom and God Bless

Remember, the New Testament record doesn’t show the Savior as pollyanna either. My concern has been that a hyper-popular show might popularize Him by casualizing Him, making him “more human,” a shockingly wrong-headed approach to the Messiah, the Son of God the Father. That is what happened in Season Two, when Jonathan’s Jesus needed an extended time to collect his thoughts to be “ready” for the Sermon on the Mount, then needed Matthew’s help. Again, they casualize Him to popularize Him. Yet dramatics sells. Im just not sold. We are fed a lot of viewpoint here-Dallas’ and Jonathan’s, and the show is fictionalized. We are not seeing Jesus Christ, we are seeing acting. For what it’s worth. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

While I love this show, we know what happens next. It is heartbreaking, to think of what Jesus physically went through for you and me to give us the gift of Salvation and eternal life in Him. Careful reading of St Luke's Gospel reveals an "architectural detail." There are EIGHT MEALS narrated -- Emmaus is the Eighth-- the Resurrection Meal on the EIGHTH DAY. So the Seder is NOT the "last" - which has given some people, like the late Queen Victoria, very Wrong Thoughts about Holy Communion, which she describes as "such a SAD service." All she could think of was the "ending" in sorrow! She NEEDED a better Perspective, denied to her because "everyone called it the 'Last Supper.'" This is something that needs to CHANGE. Calling it 'last' is something St Luke TRULY WANTED TO AVOID! Do him a favor, & strike it out of your own usage, from now on!m LOOK FORWARD to the Resurrection!!! LOOK FORWARD to Pentecost! These also infuse meaning into what Jesus taught His Twelve that night at a Seder.

Have loved previous seasons!!So disappointed in using the term “last supper” with everyone sitting at a table instead of reclining and not covering the event as a traditional Passover. Another reason for Jews to see Christians as missing the mark.
