I remember Gullah Gullah Island a bit more than David the Gnome. All I remember about David is him and his wife effin die in the last episode.

Yay another video! Why haven’t they taken his mother out of his care? Or have they already and I’m way out of the loop?

He currently is being housed by people milking him for content for money and isn't allowed near his mum sense getting out of jail IIRC.

Yeah, Chris is very likely to be living in a house purchased by Caden, who's the last-known active member of the group Praetor. Praetor is the group of four or five students (then-aged 18-22yo) who approached Chris in 2019 about merchandising; some kind of offer to "mass produce" Sonichu crap, so that Chris wouldn't be under such immediate pressure to fulfill orders from the CWCville Etsy Shop. Even then, the offer allegedly made to Chris was financially exploitative, but Chris was technically getting paid _something,_ and wouldn't have to worry about running out of money before completing, much less even posting out the orders, so Chris took the deal in spite of some people trying to get it through to Chris that Praetor was offering to pay relatively little to Chris. Anyway, the house is confirmed to have been purchased by Caden; it's a five-bedroom & 2 bathroom house in the town of Big Island, Virginia. Some KF weirdo was able to track down the house from a doorknob screencapped in one of Chris's livestreams --because that's a good use of one's time, I guess 🙄 The reason I'm not committing to Chris living there, or at least not living there full-time, is because Chris has a PO Box about a half-hour drive away, in Lynchburg --which is also where Chris has claimed Flutter (aka "Cabbage Patch") lives. Now, I've got a PO Box, myself, so I know that as long as you collect your mail every other week, it's all safe there, and Chris is kinda lazy, so the PO Box being a one-hour round-trip drive from the house isn't proof Chris _isn't_ living there, just that until Chris leaks info that further confirms the living situation, Caden's house in Big Island, Virg., is the most likely. Barb was last seen at the house in Ruckersville, Virg., in (IIRC) September or October 2023, if not earlier. The exact reason why the two now live apart is unconfirmed, but anyone who thinks this is somehow indicative of her "faking the dementia," just keep proving that they know next to nothing about it. Especially with the current state of the US healthcare services, especially mental healthcare, and how Medicare will get stingy about a LOT of really weird shit (they pay literally nothing in dental and leave that for an individual State's Medicaid to hopefully pick up), moving into a nursing home simply may be cost-prohibitive for many families. Costs for a convalescent home on her meagre fixed income, aside, some gerontologists actually recommend that dementia patients remain at home, with at least a family member or friend coming by every day or so to check in on them, because the home is a familiar place, while an in-patient facility is wholly unfamiliar to the patient, and given that new memories are difficult, often just straight-up unlikely to form in dementia patients, a care facility may not ever become familiar. Because the home is familiar, this puts less emotional stress on the patient, thus improving, or at least maintaining (as opposed to declining) one's quality of life, however little may be remaining. Now, given Chris's "therapy speak" in that one early "return video," my guess is that Chris got some serious therapy in jail, probably starting with the 60+day stint at the mental hospital, and the therapist helped Chris see how emotionally abusive Barb was, cos even the jail letters prior to that still didn't really "denounce" Barb, even though Chris was obviously still trying to avoid accountability. Still, having had a narcissistic mother, myself, as well as an emotionally distant and abusive father, I know first-hand that feelings one has towards abusive parents can be incredibly complicated, and Chris has never been the most articulate person, especially about emotions. On some level, Chris always did, and probably still does care about Barb's well-being, even though Chris's feelings about Barb did take a sick turn. Then, of course, there was the Sonichu comic, where Chris's Mary Sue assured that "returning to the Sonichu Temple" (the Branchland Ct house) was "SAFE and LEGAL," which had a lot of people certain Chris was going to move back, especially since the charges were officially dropped. I hypothesise that, between the therapist and Caden, Chris was convinced to move into Caden's house under the idea of Internet trolls finally leaving Barbara alone, which seems to have worked. After what Chris did, a lot of Barb's harshest critics finally felt sorry for her, and most have decided it best to just leave her be.
