I first watched this movie in 1996 on Disney Channel UK, LOVED IT!! I could not find this movie for 18 years after. When I saw that "Disney Cinemagic Spain" showed it, I had to record it and post it online. We need movies like this now!! Merry Christmas Everyone!!

I have watched many movies in my 68 years of life, some made me laugh, some made me cry. This movie took me back to my early childhood and the beauty one tree can give us. I am not Catholic although I have been married to two ladies who were Catholic. One walked away from me because I didn't believe in myself, the other passed away a year and a half ago and is now in heaven. She once told me I would pass alone and for once in my life I pray that will not come to pass. This movie had a message if to no one else but to me. Thank you for the most beautiful story with it's message of love and hope.

I went to a Servite Convent School I just loved this film it was so beautifully told and revealed and a story well told and yes it is a really good movie whether you are a Catholic or not any Christian or not would enjoy this film. A great film for Christmas

awesome movie of interdependence and universal love. I also think that Richard was the incarnated soul of Anna, the loved ones always come back to care for their own. Remarkable story of giving what is most precious, if it means for a good of all. Most importantly that trees though so different from humans are our greatest friends. I still have the VHS copy I recorded when it originally aired and watch it quite regularly, Christmas season or not. The video has deteriorated badly so I am glad it was finally uploaded. I'm happy to see in the comments so many new viewers are enjoying this wonderful film.

I first watched ( and recorded )this movie in 1996 on Disney Channel UK, had a vhs copy too. Made me cry and I LOVED IT!! Instant favorite!! I could not find this movie for 18 years after ( other than my dodgy vhs copy ) Had to watch that bad vhs copy every year... :) Some dvd was circulating online to buy around 2010, but that was a bad vhs copy to dvd too.. When I saw that "Disney Cinemagic Spain" had it on schedule ( in 2014), I had to record it and post it online. We need movies like this now!! Merry Christmas!🎄
