Old post but... to be fair this was a song with heavy airplay it's time and M2M were popular for a few years. It technically is a "classic" if you liked the duo back then. My guess is Chris calls everything from the first iteration of a franchise "a classic".

Does he really think this song by M2M was licensed due to actual pokemon relevance and not because 4Kids was offering the pokemon endorsement on literally everything? I have this Pokemon album; it's basically a small playlist of then-contemporary pop music with 0 to do with the actual franchise. Compared to his other sing-alongs, why even bother to mention this was from Pokemon when it really wasn't? At least his Sonic songs did have ties to Sonic. Anyway he just ruined M2M for me. Fuck him.
